As a writer, I’ve been holding the intention for a great mentor to come to me. I’ve held this for a couple of years now, but I renewed the intent when I started the prosperity game. This included finding the right agent, publisher and marketing for my novel.

The mentor had arrived in the form of a friendship a month or so ago with a best selling author, but I never wanted to take advantage of our friendship and badger him for advice. He was very forthcoming and we talked a lot about writing and he gave me good advice, but it was casual and I really desired (and needed) so much more. SO, last week my mentor announced a program of giving back to the writing community, which included donating scholarships, teaching, donating income from projects to reading projects for kinds, and mentoring one writer per year.

Wow, I was really impressed, but a little sad in thinking that while he mentored someone else (because it wouldn’t be right for me to ask since we were friends) he might have less time for his casual mentoring with me (LACK alert! no enough for me!). But I turned my thoughts to how blessed I am to have him as my friend and that the friendship by far was more important than the mentoring in my life. This made me happy. I also promoted his program by posting his mission statement of giving on my blogs, etc. It felt great to support such an incredibly generous plan.

Yesterday we spoke on the phone and he told me he’d gotten TONS of requests, but he’d been thinking about it and wanted to make me his first mentoree! OMG… With no effort, just an open heart and gratitude for my friendship, this extraordinary, life changing, career changing opportunity came to my life. Not only will he mentor my writing process, but he’ll be guiding me through the agent and publishing process as well! Like I said, OMG!

I’m still stunned. I’ll be seeing him today and we’ll discuss the details. The friendship remains most important in my heart and mind, and I’ve told him that if in anyway this jeopardizes our friendship, I want to pull the plug on the project, but he assures me that there’s no need for worry there. Man, what a blessing…woohoo!

What I discovered today when I was spending my prosperity game check was a fantastic key to finding greater wholeness. When we moved to our condo by the sea (a HUGE manifesting gift, btw) we renovated the kitchen. The stove was in reasonably good shape so we kept it, but it’s turned out to be kind of wimpy for cooking and it doesn’t match the other lovely appliances. Generally, that’s not a big deal, but what I realized when I was tracking my resistance is that the stove is a symbol of my habit of settling for something that’s good enough in all aspects of my life, not feeling deserving of the best, the most beautiful, the easier to use.

This permeates my work, my health, my environment, my relationships–settling for good enough. Frankly, that’s NOT good enough anymore. Giving away the old stove and buying the right one for my kitchen and for my needs and desires is a symbol of accepting wholeness, fullness and completion in my life. It shows me that I have enough time and space and energy to give attention to the details of my life and fill in the gaps with beauty, love, fullness and fun. There’s a huge AHHHH in that feeling of wholeness and completion, and it stops the sense of running back and forth from place to place and thing to thing and idea to idea, just doing enough to make it good enough. I WANT and DESERVE better in my life, and NEED more and WANT more for those I love and for my environment. I embrace wholeness, fullness and completion. It gives me peace and the joy of contentment to have discovered this today.

My intention is to know the truth, the universe is wide and I ask for a greater vision than I’m now capable of seeing for myself.. What possibilities are there for me? Is it a bigger career, more money to do what I want and feel absolutely secure financially, is it a bigger more beautiful home on the beach and one in the mountains? Is it vibrant health? My intention is to have it all and all at the same time. Health, wealth, happiness, adventure, fun, compassion, truth, lots of money from unexpected sources that I never have to pay back, it’s all for the betterment of my life.. My intention is to be debt free, have the houses completed, more exercise, more fun, more grace, more flexibility, more sharing on an caring, true level. To encourage love, truth and grace to be my everyday life at all times, and I’d like to travel in a more elegant wonderous way.. I’d like to have my teeth fixed beautifully, completely, and quickly for a price I can easily afford and feel good about. I’m open to the possibility of complete abundance on every level… Help from the universe has now arrived..yippeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Within the next four weeks I want to know that dreams can come true! That it is safe to dream and to hope. I want to know, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that life no longer has to be about struggle and sadness, that there would be a tremendous shift inside of me toward genuine hopefulness and joy. I want to see money and love flow to me with ease. I want to experience wonderful opportunities in employment and friendship and partnerships to flow to me effortlessly. I want to see amazing, positive breakthroughs regarding my financial situation. I want amazingly, positive healing regarding my ankle, I really, really, really am ready to have some fun and to truly be embraced by the love of the universe. I want to see so much evidence of abundance in my life that I cease to worry about finances and cease to see the lack of anything! I am ready to release stress and fear and embrace love, joy and ease and I am really, super looking forward to experiencing that in the next four weeks in a permanent and lasting way!!! I am ready to have more than enough money, more than enough love, more than enough health and more than enough time to enjoy it al!!! That’s what I’m ready for in the next four weeks: Health, wealth, love – complete freedom!

Dear Universe:

I want to believe that it is time for me and I am ready to have, be and do all that money, opportunity, love, growth, peace, joy, freedom and passion that universe were holding it for me so patiently to offer. I want the universe to know that I am ready to make the best and highest use of all that I receive for myself, my family, friends and humanity.
I want the universe to help me to find and remove that small glitch, fear, block or resistence that is holding me back from all that I can be and be able to reach my potentials.
I know I am a cocreator in all that come to my life (I experienced it). I know I am learning to create deliberately (I have evidence). Now, I want to have the ultimate faith and trust that all that I know is true and so it is.
I want to become a positive role model and mentor for people who are in my life and/or yet to come.
I am asking for observable and quantifiable proof that I can attract more prosperity within the next four weeks.
I want to lern to center myself as I wish and stay balanced with my emotions.
I want the inner peace and wisdom to fill my physical body and every single cell of it and goes beyond to fill my spirit. And the feeling of relief from fear, stress, exhaustion, and resentment to tickle my soul.
I want to feel my real passion in life, to know my big why, to know my life purpose and be in a deeper level of knowing.
I want to have an unexpected opportunity with high, profitable and stressfree income in my career in the next four weeks that I know it wouldn’t happen without divine interference.
I want to see my son as an egoless, emotionally mature, responsible and happy person.
I want to see my daughter happily enjoying her life and talents with inner peace, understanding and forgiveness.
