~ Building a Sacred Container

Ten years ago I initiated three “Sacred Contracts” and invited the Universe to support me in their fulfillment.

The first involved finding an ideal Spiritual Community- and within two weeks I connected to a group that became my spiritual family.

The second involved attracting an ideal Spiritual Partner – and, within four months, I was in a committed partnership with John (who would be my love and my champion for the next seven years.)

The final contract involved building my life-coaching business from 3 clients (who were paying only $250/month – combined) to a steady monthly income that would allow me to focus on my coaching practice as the sole means of support for my family.

Within two months I was offered a teaching position training Spiritual Coaches via teleconference and, within six months, I was financially stable enough to move my children from an apartment into a house and to let go of all outside contracting work to focus exclusively on my coaching practice.

I share these three stories with you because I want you to fully grasp the power that you activate when you consciously commit to co-creating with your Soul.

~ How a Sacred Container Grows with You and Your Dreams

Unlike a simple wish or desire, once you set a “Sacred Contract” into motion it continues to expand, upgrade and support you in moving into greater resonance with your highest possibilities.

I am no longer a member of that initial spiritual group. Instead, my current sense of “spiritual community” is broader and deeper and more satisfying than I ever could have foreseen ten years ago.

I am not still in a committed relationship with John. Instead that spiritual partnership morphed into a deep friendship to make room for the love affair with my husband Greg that has blessed my life in the most remarkable ways. Not only did John accept the completion of our relationship – he happily danced at my wedding and regularly visits us in our new home.

Finally, my income no longer comes from teaching classes for someone else. Instead, my work has expanded and developed so that every month I support:

- 20+ individuals through one-on-one coaching

- 200+ of members of the Prosperity Partnership Program through three live weekly classes

- thousands of people on my e-zine list (and 29K+ who are playing the online Prosperity Game.)

… and I am guided to do this all from an energized, heart-centered space (mostly in the time that my children are in
school) because Spirit is guiding me every step of the way.

And I have been repeating this process, with continued success, and training other people to use this process and experience similar “inevitable” success.

1. Your outer manifestations always mirror what is going on inside you.

2. When you change your inner programming, the external results will change accordingly.

3. If you don’t have something that you want, it is because you are not energetically (mind-body-soul) aligned with it.

4. If you have something in your life that you don’t want, it is because right now you are in energetic alignment with it.

5. Whether you want something you do not have, or you have something that you do not want, when you learn to consciously shift your energy you will attract totally different results.

6. The laws of the universe are totally clear and absolutely consistent!

7. To change your attraction: 1st) Get clarity about what you want, 2nd) Align your energy with it, and 3rd) Commit to receiving it and it will be yours.

8. Simply knowing something on an intellectual level gives you very little power. When you take a truth and internalize it so that it becomes who-you-really-are on a cellular level, you will radiate that truth outward and your entire experience of life will be changed.

9. The fastest way to block your efforts to create the life you love is to get caught up in a negative energy spiral. Any action taken from a place of lack (fear, anxiety, poor self-esteem, separation/scarcity consciousness) will be motivated action (pushing fear/discomfort away) and will be counterproductive.

10. The fastest way to propel yourself towards the manifestation of your dreams is to: 1) learn the intricacies of the universal laws, 2) consciously line up your energy with what you want and 3) take action (positive, flowing, enthusiastic action) from a place of inspiration (pulling your good towards you) rather than motivation.

I received such thoughtful responses that I decided to share the first half of the list with you here today. (Check out previous radio shows in the archive here.)

From least to most disadvantageous…

#10. Thinking that success with the law of attraction is related to magical thinking

I can’t tell you how many people are confused about why they are getting what they are getting (or, more often, not getting what they “think” that they are asking for).

This is due to the fact that “thinking” is only a small element of co-creation.

The Universe does not favor people who “know” about the law of attraction. As the law of attraction is absolute, impersonal and precise, it operates the same way towards every one in every situation – no exceptions. And it responds to your “energy,” not simply to your thoughts.

#9. Practicing habits that shut the channel

As explained in #10, co-creation is all about energy and the alignment of energy. Once you have decided what you want your part of the process is to “ask” and stay open to receive.

Unfortunately, the vast majority of us fall into unconscious daily habits that block our receptivity. Thus, when we _______ (worry, judge, express a need to control, feel attached to an outcome or crunched for time) we inadvertently shut down the channel connecting us to our good.

#8. Putting a cap on desires

I’ve seen this happen over and over with my clients and it typically shows up in one of two ways.

Either the client has some contradictory energy around achieving the type of success that she envisions (for example: wanting to make a huge financial leap while simultaneously fearing what other people will think if she does) or the client has a history of feeling so disappointed when he has wanted something that hasn’t come to pass that he unconsciously assumes that it is better to not want and, as a result, puts a strong “cap” on his desires.

#7. Thinking the law of attraction is it all about “stuff”

Although the majority of people who have been attracted to studying the law of attraction might have initially focused on attracting cars, houses and monetary gains, most everyone who comes to understand the law of attraction on the deepest level quickly sees that the value of the law of attraction is far
beyond the level of “stuff.”

Once we truly understand how the law of attraction really works, we can view every experience in our life as a mirror so that we can ascertain exactly why we are getting what we are getting.

For example, I coached a client last week who was having a real challenge pricing her services correctly. Even when she thought that she was allowing for all contingencies, her clients routinely stretched the scope of projects or asked for rewrites without expressing a willingness to pay for the additional services. In fact, she found that it was not at all uncommon for the people who made the biggest demands on her to be the ones who were late in paying her or the first ones to complain if she did not respond in what they thought was a timely matter.

After inviting her to consider how these experiences reflected a pattern that appeared in other areas of her life, my client began to understand how her failure to create clear “boundaries” with other people resulted in her attracting people who would try to get as much from her as they could.

Now that she understands how the law of attraction is providing her with a perfect reflection of how she has been holding her energy, she is free to change it. And this, my friends, is how my students and clients become skilled at creating “prosperity from the inside out.”

#6. Getting stuck in “reality”….

…and thinking that is is our job to figure out “how” it will work.

Abraham-Hicks explains that most of us have “what-is-itis.” Yet, the skill at the heart of co-creation is the ability to accept what is – exactly as it is – while intending improvement and expansion.

Our work is to become clear about the essences of what we want – and to let the Universe handle the details. (Members of the Prosperity Partnership Program become adept at this.)
