I simply love this stuff!

My definition of prosperity is…to live my life the way I want to and having all the resources…more actually than I can imagine…to support that vision.

I have read like everyone else the books, my dogs and I have listened to endless tapes but like others have said..the pieces are there but something has felt like it was missing to bring it all together… I think through this experience with all of you…I believe I have found the “cosmic glue” to magically put it all together. And what do I say to that? Hallelujah Sisters and Brothers!

I wanted to share this “Unexpected Money Prayer” from a Unity Church

I dwell in the midst of Infinite Abundance. The Abundance of God is my Infinite Source. The River of Life never stops flowing. It flows through me into lavish expression. Good comes to me through unexpected avenues. God works in myriad ways to bless me. I now open my mind to receive my good. Nothing is too good to be true. Nothing is too wonderful to happen. With God as my Source, nothing amazes me. I give freely and fearlessly into life and life gives back to me with fabulous increase. Blessings come in expected and unexpected ways. I am grateful.
And so it is.

Today I am thankful! Full of joy, happiness, and prosperity! I relax into the knowledge that everything is good — because everything is God. I look at all things as blessings, and all challenges as opportunities to grow as a being, both human and spiritual. I find kind words and loving thoughts fill me up and overflow. I AM at peace.

Thank you, Lorraine – that prayer comes at a great time. It’s interesting for me to substitute “good” for “God” in that prayer, and vice versa!

It’s reminded to go for what excites me as opposed to what I ‘think’ is possible.

It’s reminded me to have fun; relax; enjoy the journey.

It’s reminded me that more is better!

It’s reminded me that it’s about evolution as opposed to getting it ‘right’ now!

In the infinite mind there is no past or future, there is only here and now. Right now at this very moment I know that all my dreams exist. I see them I feel them and I know they are good enought to be true. Every Good thing is mine thru the right of my conciousness and I accept with love and great gratitude.

Today I am going to focus on “being” instead of “having.”

Today I am going to focus on feeling the light and love of the Universe.

Today is all about the joy of the moment! The beautiful sunrise and sunset, the friends and family that surround me, the many possibilities and opportunities that present themselves to me in unexpected ways.

Yes, today I am going to focus on my being at peace with all things present and things to come and I am going to feel the light and love of the Universe!

Thank you Lorraine for sharing the prayer with all of us. I keeps me focused on God knowing He shall supply all my needs and He gives me the desires of my heart. I am grateful for this day and accept all the goodness that is out there for me now.

And so it is

I looked at the definition of prosperity I had posted on Day 1: “Prosperity means feeling full to overflowing, no sense of limitation or lack, a natural state of bliss and gratitude for all the abundance received and given, be it money, smiles, service or inner peace.” and I could feel that sense of fullness, bliss and gratitude, mainly around my heart. But it doesn’t give me the jazzed sensation of the Webster definition you shared, and it does have some “againstness” in it, so I’m revising for maximum FEEL:

Prosperity: to flourish, to grow vigorously, succeed, thrive, to feel so full of the wonderfulness of life that it overflows, bubbles up, efferveses my life and my experience. .. I’ll keep working on it.

Every day these past 21 days, I have been immersed in work that I find extremely deep and satisfying. It pays me in its brilliance. THe hours go by effortlessly. I have financial issues that will shortly need serious practical attention. I am keeping my body fit, I read inspirational material daily, I contributed to my thank you poem blog yesterday – http://thankyoupoems.findfastr.com/ and started the day by reading something that affirms how I am receiving value in the words and thoughts of other people.

I know that there is space and form, and it is the space that fills me with possibilities and knowing that I will be shown the way that matters to me. I am concerned with the welfare of others but know that they also must find their own way. I use my actions to help them (rather than shielding them) realize that their prosperity is theirs to cultivate.

My trust in the law of attraction is best expressed for me in this prayer
(…allegedly by Ernest Holmes sister…)

I am a place where Goddess shines through
for She and I are One not two.
She needs me where and as I AM
I never worry, fret, nor plan.
I am relaxed and free,
Goddess carries out Her perfect plans
through me.

And so it is…

Thanks for that definition Elyse! I love the feeling of flourishing, growing vigorously, thriving. No matter what! I have a picture of a flower blossoming, reaching up to the sun, having pushed its way through a crack in the concrete. I have the feeling that it is familiar with that spirit of prospering no matter what!

Going back and re-reading my definition of prosperity I realize I left out any feeling. And it’s the feelings that are most important! Thanks for showing this to me Elyse. I’m going back to the drawing board and am writing a definition that screams with excitement!

As I reflect on today’s message, I am inspired by all and with a grateful heart I reflect on what I have attained mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually. In this I know in my heart that I have not even touched the surface of the abundance that is being offered to me without any stipulations of repayment. Unlimited possibilities abound if I am totally open and aware and take the time to spend in quiet (meditation) realizing (inner/and out smiling) just what has happened at any give moment and being eternally grateful for the insight. I am so thankful for the opportunity to help create and be a part of the loving energy that is flowing through this glorious prosperity group.

True abundance for me is feeling that high vibration of well-being every moment of my day. It makes me happy, feels very connected and protected. And allows me to share my good vibes because it’s limitless!

Futurizing. I’ve been doing it all along. Today I will remove the carrot from the string and EAT IT! Today I feel whole, I feel great. Despite my surroundings of family issues. I have a good life. The universe has taken care of me in practical ways.

I too am grateful for today’s coaching. I had a distinct lack of verve in my prosperity definition and am reworking it to reflect something bright and shiny and may I add, with substance! I am grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this experiment and thanks to Lorraine for the prayer – that’s a keeper.

It’s amazing to me the shift that can take place immediately when you start to focus and are conscious of all the positive things in your life. To be grateful can take you to so many places, even if you have to start just by being thankful for your breath. Start there, you can find 10,000 things to be thankful for, and your vibration will shift in minutes.
Why don’t we do this all the time? Why is it so easy to lose sight of such wonderful things? Why do we forget how powerful we are?

I am grateful to be part of this loving community.
I am thankful for the daily miracles and tools that keep me on the path to enlightenment and abundant living.

The coaching was just what I needed today! Being reminded of “being” prosperous and not just “having” prosperity is a huge tool for me. I have so much to be grateful and thankful for and it’s easy to get bogged down in the hows. Thanks for all the encouraging words.

I’m using this space as a place to think/feel out loud, if that’s OK….

Yesterday, the Universe brought me $250, a partial payment on a $500 loan I made to someone almost six months ago. Two months ago I asked him to repay it ASAP, two weeks ago I told him I needed him to repay the loan by 29 August – I have earmarked the money to go towards next month’s rent as, at this moment, I dont have any regular 3D income streams active, apart from child support, which comes in too late for the rent payment.

This other person is struggling financially as he has been out of work for a very long time and just keeps missing out on job offers – that’s another (albeit aligned) story altogether.

I wasnt sure he would be able to meet my timeline – I am very grateful and bless him in his integrity that he is honouring his commitments – which gives me reason to pause and reflect on where in my life I am/am not in integrity myself. I have the mirror image of this situation happening in my relationships with several other people, both in my ‘past’ and in the NOW, where I am the person owing the debt.

Now – my dilemma, which I have been wrestling with for quite some time is this: If I believe in an abundant, infinite life of prosperity, and NOW is all there is, where does ‘management’ of resources come into this picture?

I have a young child, I want to give him as many expansive adventures/experiences as possible during his growing years, to lay a foundation for his future…. He’s home from preschool for two weeks before kindergarten starts and I want to take him on some short excursions, which cost money (we already do lots of ‘togetherness, quality time’ things that don’t cost money).

Do I spend some of that $250 on activities with my son, trusting, believing that the rent money will manifest in time, or do I reserve/allocate it towards the rent and sit on it for the next 10 days?

That’s the part I dont get in this process – is there a point about stewardship of resources, and if there is, doesnt that imply a belief in lack and undercut the belief in the infinite abundance and the reality that there is only the NOW?

I loved the part about not limiting our sense of prosperity to “the bucks.” I have had money in the past and crappy relationships/sucky life. And great relationships/good life and no money. It was only when I left my last (and I mean last) abusive relationship (and, just a note, we made thousands of $$$ and my ex-abuser-husband was convinced that we never had enough) and committed to emotional health and happiness that the true prosperity started to flow. I became happy the minute I left. My son and I instantly manifested a sweet little house in the woods and a great life. Life has continued in that expansive vein….

But these exercises that we do here….remind me that I place a lot of value and importance on MONEY….having been quite poor, financially, at times. And yet, nothing flows if I have not attended to the flow in mySelf and my relationships. Interesting food for thought….

I connected well with my original definitions. But after re-reading it for a while, I noticed I had been a bit shy about what I truly desire to contribute; showing my own colours, as I call it. So I rewrote the last bit…

Prosperity, to me, is a concrete non-physical place. No matter what I am doing or feeling or being, whatever needs and desires I have will easily flow to me, on a material, physical, emotional, and spiritual level; – while my mind, in connection with my heart & spirit expresses itself and recreates love & abundance again and again in never ending, unique, creations for the world to joyously share with me!

Peace is the ultimate state of prosperity. I AM Peace.

Wel I missed the teleconference! Totally forgot! How I did that I do not know. So I see there is a replay button. So at least I can listen in on the what happened. Everything happens for a reason. I guess I was too caught up in making my grocery shopping list! I LOVE grocery shopping. Food is my favorite hobby.

So I’ve looked at my definition of prosperity and have rewrote it to say:
“Prosperity to me means feeling joy, love, and happiness in all areas of my life in every moment that allows me to be my authentic self while allowing all the abundance of the universe to flow through me.”

And yes I do place a lot of value on money also. I read a book not too long ago called the Energy of Money. Great book, though I didn’t do all the exercises. Money is just another form of energy. My relationship with money is a mirror for all my relationships in life. Money isn’t evil or good, it just is. It is the emotional attachment we have placed on money that gets us all caught up! Money is just paper, a form of exchange. There once was a time when cowrie shells were used as money. But I totally get the emotional charge wrapped around money. I’m all wrapped up in it too.

Focus on “being” instead of “having” really jollted me.

As I pondered that statement, I realized that I cannot recall ever for a second the feeling of “being” prosperous. I have thought of prosperity (financial prosperity) as a wonderful dream that “someday” will come true for me. Hmmm.

I appreciate the delicious clarity I have as a result of reading today’s “food for thought.”

Mahalo Elyse for this different “view” of prosperity. This has caused me to rewrite my definition, although the old one wasn’t too far off, to one that is entirely more inspiring and exciting to me.

I am succeeding and thriving in every area of my life, at the peak of creativity, love, development, activity, financial wealth and perfect health, overflowing with loving relationships and support for this amazing lifetstyle that thrills my entire being with gratitude and appreciation in each moment and with every breath.

Wow!! The prosperity call today was amazing. Truly miraculous.
I am so grateful for having been on the call. I feel so much is already shifting for me in light of all the exceptional suggestions and assistance offered to me today.

Prosperity for me is a harmonious blend between spiritual/financial/relational/physical/mental energy within the spirit. A large tip I got from today’s call was blessing EVERYTHING that has shown up in your world. All of it, good, bad, neutral. It’s harder to bless the “bad” however, the more we can do that the more that energy will get moved, shifted into a far superior place…Then a space is opened for the good to FLOW IN…Yes, yes, yes!

I’m surprìsed to find that it’s true, reading other people’s thoughts really is inspiring, and it’s touching to know there are all these people sharing the same experience, willing to communicate their thoughts. I haven’t posted up mine yet because I’ve had so little time the last few days:I’m going to try and participate more from Monday.

I love Julie Joy’s revised version and expecially “the wonderfulness of life that bubbles up” and I’m going to work on mine when I get back from the weekend. This revision of our definitions seems like a very empowering step to take.

I now adopt the definition of prosperity for as the state of flourishing, growing vigorously, succeeding, thriving financially, emotionally, spiritually, and intellectually.

I am open to being at the peak of development, activity and influence in all these areas, which in turn enhances my experiences in my career, vocation, family, community and which include travel to Europe, throughout the US, and Asia, practical comforts and resources, teaching and speaking, and learning from gifted mentors who have a genuine interest in my projects and abilities.

There really, really, really is NOTHING more important than FEELING GOOD!
When I am in full alignment with who I truly am, then I feel blissful, I trust life and allow myself to enjoy the journey:-) THAT is prosperity’s definition for me.

Why do I want anything at all? Because of how I think I will feel once it is so… which is feeling good!!

One of the exercises I play with is to connect with my ‘future self’, my expanded version a few years down the line, and have her guide me from where I am to where I am going.
Doing this while holding the TAT (Tapas Acupressure Technique) pose or doing the Zpoint process really allows the energy to shift!

I have experienced tremendous shifts in aligning from using the above techniques, as they bypass your conscious mind and go to the source.

Prosperity, and feeling prosperous to me is all about actually experiencing the gratitude for the mulitple areas of abundance in my life. I am so lucky, so prosperous, so happy already, so much so that I can bring myself to tears if I focus on it, which I often start my day doing. I love to take a bit of time out and reflect on all i am, all i have, all the great experiences behind me and the power in that. I am already very generous, both with myself and others, and I enjoy giving time, gifts and love to both myself and others. I LOVE events like Christmas, and adore buying thoughtful, personal gifts, things people REALLY want, myself included : )

And you’re right it all comes down to the emotion it brings with it, the feeling of joy, the thrill of increasing the ways to experience the abundance of the universe. Having eufficient resources in ones life to enable a happy, joyous, generous and exciting life.

I’m already SO there in SO many ways!

I have been lucky to get to know several very very financially wealthy people, people with huge amounts of money, and seen that they still suffer with the same problems as all of us, relationships, self worth, purpose, even boredom! I know a lot of unhappy people who drive to work in Porsches and Ferrari’s…

And there I am loving life in my VW : )

I stand out of my own way to grow into what god, the universe, the divine presence has in store for me. It’s truely been amazing already, both good and “bad”.

I was first introduced to the Law of attraction about 3yrs. ago through a method that has been around for decades. I made lists and vision boards of the mansion, expensive car, the millions in the bank and all the material things that I thought wanted and, as instructed, I tried to see myself being joyous and happy with these “things”. In spite of the seminars, tapes and cds, I was left with a hollow, empty feeling every time I tried to visualize these things coming into my life.

Enter Elyse….dont’ remember how the contact was made ….and even though I had been very inconsistent in my participation in the PPP, there has been a dramatic change in how I think, how I feel, how I look at life. Her constant reminder that nothing is more important than to FEEL GOOD is the key to everything. If it does not feel good, take another look.

My definitation of prosperity is FREEDOM to live the life of my dreams…giving and receiving love in its many shapes and forms and using my creativity to add beauty to the world and the lives of others. I do not fret the details. eg. I concentrate on the feelings I”ll have in my new home, not the location, size, cost etc. Those details I leave to the universe. I don’t want to limit it, because as Oprah says you can dream big, but God can dream bigger. I am open to to the flow.

Last couple of years I was trying every method that I would come across, listening to CDs, writing and reading about fulfilling my desired life. However something was missing from the puzzle and I was just going in a circle. Now it is clear to me. I went back couple of times and read my definition of prosperity and I think this game is the missing part of the puzzle. Now I have the tools that I need to be all that I want to be, all that I want to do, and all that I want to have.

Prosperity to me is about experiencing all of the wonderful things that life has to offer and all the wonderful things that I have to offer life. This takes in good physical health, good mental and emotional health, good financial health, good relationships and expanding spirituality. The Law of Attraction is the mechanism that continuously provides the prosperous experiences.

Hearing the joy in your voice on the call today as you read your statement was inspiring and infectious!

Someone else on our call mentioned being open to the flow and receiving ‘unexpected’ gifts like 2 giant figs! What a luscious and juicy image.

These are some of my favorite parts of prosperity – the circulation aspect. keeping it moving. Knowing God is my source- not my job or anything ‘external’

When I remember that it flows. I will remember to be in this energy and know I can come here to help me remember.

I’m feeling some resistance to sharing on this blog because I don’t usually communicate in this form and when I write about what I want and feel, it’s in my journal not out into the whole wide world.

I really want things to be different now. I’m sooooo bored with the ongoingness of my internal challenge.
My main issue around prosperity is money and thinking about money.
It lives as a low level anxiety most of the time, for most of my life. I want to be free from that being the lid on my potential.
Sometimes I feel like I could explode from what I’m possible of being and not allowing that.
So Prosperity to me is all of the things everyone has shared on this blog, I’ve felt and can relate to all of you.
And simply I ask that I am finally free!!

Today, I bask in abundance. Truly I do. I delight in the incredible wealth that surrounds me. I experience an abundance of friends, abundant love from family, a wonderful partner, sweet furry animal friends (not to mention a boat load of bucks ~ LOL). I am relishing the abundance that surrounds me. I am sitting in my home office at the end of a lovely day. A day in which I intended to seek joy in each moment – and for the most part, I believe I have and that I am!

I gaze out the window…the sun is shining and low in the sky. It is casting shadows which play on the river and fields below. The sky is clear blue. The mountains are gorgeous in the distance. I am so incredibly appreciative of this glorious moment and all that I have. I truly am surrounded by the infinite beauty and the astounding wealth of the Pacific Northwest. I am now taking the time to take a deep breath and look around. I relishing this moment.

I feel so safe and whole as my dear sweet inner being, and my NPEF’s (non physical entity friends) cradle me so gently in the vastness of this awe inspiring universe.

Today I joined the call before I had a chance to read the challenge information. As I shared with the group from my heart, I could feel the excitement when I talked about wanting to help others. I just want to give money away. I desire to create unique ways to help others without them knowing and just share all my amazing wealth.

Max suggested I think of ways I could do this now in my life. I had an Ah, HA moment. So, this is the way it works. I must find ways to share the wealth I have each day. Maybe for now I share my words of support, my dollars for charity, my joy of the beautiful sky. I share with love and emotion as I know I will share my multitude of dollars later today. Yes, today it is already here and at hand.

Tonight I received a call for a committe I volunteered to chair. I will be heading up the Scholarship awards for next years recipients. How awesome, I will be helping others by giving away money. Isn’t that awesome. The universe is helping me to feel my exciting desires right now.

There have been times in my life when I have behaved like a mean, nasty, not having person. I damaged those around me and myself with constant thoughts of lack.
Now things are coming togther in an inspiring cosmic way to rasie my conscousiness to elevations I never thought possible. I revel in giving to others the joy I feel In my own life, and inspiring others to change thier own lives. Wow, there is no reason for anyone to feel miserable.

I get it, I so get it now!
Its simple, not difficult, it was never meant to be hard.

This is nice, I just checked my paycheck and got a raise and a retroactive paycheck of $221.80. I actually do appreciate my job and the opportunity to serve in a hospital setting. A month ago a patient wrote to my manager and appreciated my attitude and professionalism, it was nice, icing on the cake and even better it uplifted my manager to hear such positive words.

I appreciate being able to translate this energy into our family vacation next week. It actually pays for the kayak ride exploring the caves of La Jolla! I think that is a pretty cool trade, service I enjoy mostly, for splashing in the ocean with the seals and dolphins.

TERRIFIED.

I walk the walk, talk the talk, feel the feel and when I venture outside my inside, I love almost every moment of my life.

However, there is a security lock on my financial prosperity that is so hidden and protected there must be as much as the national treasure stowed away there. (No, wait, that’s not worth much anymore is it?)

The financial abundance that is backed up outside my door, waiting my allowing is worth more than I can imagine but since it is so securely locked, I am not concerned because it may never become a reality.

So, where do I go from here? What is the combination to the vault? How do I begin? If it’s from inside out, I’ve ripped that place apart and haven’t found the answer.

I am intimately acquainted with the LOA, I’ve watched it work and then retired to the background because I couldn’t back up my attraction and creation with the money necessary to follow through.

I am better than most with extraordinary deliberate creation, and can follow it to completion if it is with other people’s money, but becomes for their enjoyment and relaxation, not mine and not with my family.

So, how do I get to the point of allowing for ME? In particular, money flowing to and through me that is FREE from encumbrances that will enhance my life and the lives of my loved ones?

I AM grateful (and incredibly fortunate) for having created an opportunity to make money with OPM (other people’s money). It is time to for me to pay back what I have borrowed and live a life of financial freedom, with love, relaxation and time to enjoy my quick access to unlimited resources so that I may enhance and create for my life and the lives of my loved ones.

I look forward to listening to the recording of the call from earlier today. My sister and I were out, giving our new walking food tour of LA. I am sharing that because, one of our tour guests who grew up in LA, said to us very heartfully at the end of the tour “Now I’ve fallen in love with my city!” He had never felt so enamored with LA before we all spent time together this morning. He wants to be a tour leader for us! I told my sister, that is SUCH a gift to receive a compliment like that!!!

FEELS like prosperity to me!!!!!! I love BEing in that space!

Prosperity is a state of mind. It feels expansive and free. Prosperity feels good and comes from self love, acceptance, and support. T he prosperous know there is enough to go around; there are sufficient resources to meet everyones needs. therfore, they share life`s goodness and blessings with love and joy. Prosperity gives one the strength to be kind, gentle and patient with those most in need.

I was happy to see that my definition of prosperity was a beautiful, aligned and broad definition. I´m Swedish, so I must listen to the sound of the word and really feel it to get it right. I look it up in the dictionary and combine that meaning with the feeling I get from the word.

I love the combination of words To prosper. It excudes a feeling of vastness and unlimited sources for us all to be more than we can imagine. It is so life affirming and allowing in itself. I don´t need to figure it all out, I (we) am all taken care of. I (we) am in a good place. There is a lot more to it than I can figure out and I let it all happen to me in the most loving way. To prosper = to welcome and grow into the fuller me, which then allow things to happen that give joy, inspiration, love and meaning.

my shift yesterday was to suddenly hear myself looking for fault and being negative – reactions with extreme rage towards colleagues ( rage I did not let out but kept churning inside) – so I have a separate page in my journal now opposite the positive, the prosperity page – and noting how many times I clench my jaw, and even real anger bursts up inside …
acceptance does not mean being naive,stupid, herd mentality … how Hitler happened … rather
being aware, and choosing to step back breathe deeply and not let other people’s actions and words affect me …

Dear Elyse and everyone on yesterday’s call thank you for your coaching and your sharing. My prosperity definition from Monday remains the same – feeling safe and joyous in a harmonious and generous world, in which I participate fully motivates me daily. After Monday I became discouraged that I am paying more for rent than it would cost me to have a mortgage. My pattern of feeling trapped emerged, because I don’t have a downpayment for a house, and some in my area are more than 30% lower than a few years ago. On the conference call I created that I am working to attract an equity investor to help with my downpayment. It’s not all about the money. It gives me great pleasure to help and support others when they are in need~~~~ the Friday conference call helped me restore balance and faith in the the abundant and natural flow of giving and receiving. thank you all for this community. i feel the energy we are creating together! i am holding this as an experiment. i want to share two small proofs that i can create prosperity -firstly a friend asked me to her to the hospital. It kind of took all day for various reasons but afterwards she gave me £10. Also on Friday i was asked to work Sunday (extra money). This at a time when i am switching from weekly pay to monthly and seriously didnt know how i would get through.

i’m a RICH girl.
in every area – personal relationships, love relationships, money, creative satisfaction, you name it. i’m manifesting it right now.
and i prosper each and everyone of you now, and everyone and everything prospers me now.
as i said before, alot can happen in a month……….

I am so ready to create prosperity in my life. After reviewing my personal definition of prosperity, I realized that I am on the right track but I need more feeling, more emotion. It’s like I read so much about the Law of Attraction but I need an injection of real excitement. I am ready to get that injection!

Another insightful post!! I have reveiwed my definition of prosperity and found that I was “looking from the outside-in” and “futurising”. I have altered my definition, and it feels better already. I’m also using the progressive affirmation (from Day 4) and enjoying the prosperity game, and starting to feel lighter, more positive and hopeful. I felt really excited this morning when I read through my “challenge to the universe”. I’m definitely making progress! Thank you, Elyse.

Prosperity would mean freedom to live life joyfully and blissfully and feeling love and embraced by the universe. To truly feel this through and through…loved, protected and embraced. To be inspired to use my talents to the fullest, to have the little fear that resides in my subconscious to finally be gone!

My first focus of the day and last before sleep – the Experiment. Such shifts in these couple of years!
Evidence: yesterday my boss phoned and ASKED me for my side of the story, semi-listened, and then told me about an “anonymous” talebearer (who I can guess is L…..form the language) – then she went off on her lecture but it had changed from a tirade to a more equal opinion. Last week I got my move to a different office, a more professional and adult environment.—these 30 days to get free of the kindergarten that is my current work team …to a healthier environment – present job or better …

I a definitely feeling the abundance. I am working on a big new project and was having some issue w/ getting some help. I posted on CL the other day and received over 30 replies. I also just got two new cool projects in the last two days and have uncovered some great opportunities that will help w/ my new project. I feel a sense of abundance and prosperity. I have heard myself say multiple times the last few days that my cup runneth over. I am enjoying the wave of prosperity that this exercise is creating.

My definition of prosperity is a feeling a peace, happiness, joy and abundance in all areas of life. Not just monetary, but rich in life and exuding a positive energy that’s contagious. It’s exciting. Can’t wait to see what the experiment yields.

having read what you’ve put on your blog today, I realize I already am a prosperous being!! I have it all, a luxurious home, 2 wonderful kids and a loving family, plenty of friends , the right attitude of humility and gratitude living in awe of the universe.

I am participating in this experiment for the sheer fun of it, and to get rid of any money -cash blocks I may have. You see, it is all very well to talk about abundance and prosperity in general terms but one must realize that it also involves money.
Money gives you a wider choice in things you might want to do. Having more money opens new doors for us.
Many of us limit our choices depending on the cash we have. We do not even realise this. Money is also good energy, so lets see that manifest too, along with all the love and the happiness and joy…

Also in India and the east, prosperity is feminine energy, and through this experiment, I am reinforcing my respect for feminine energy.

My personal definition on Day 1:
“To me my definition of prosperity is the continuous influx of the things needed to attain and maintain a happy, healthy, wealthy life. This includes health (physical and mental), wealth and the ability to have an income that’s more than enough for all my needs and desires, a working computer, love, friendship, things that allow me to be as independent as possible such as a car and a computer.”

Clearly I was coming from lack this day. I was definitely feeling the lack in my life and the fear of what’s to come with all the bills and such and letting my SSI of $449 a month limit my thinking.

However, since starting this, I’ve been feeling uplifted and even being more productive around the house. I’m more loving and helpful. One of my cats that was missing since Sunday showed up on Wednesday in amazingly good shape and has been wonderfully loving since arriving home. Another cat that was acting weird and I was worried for his health has perked up and decided to come out of the back room to eat rather than my bringing his meals to him. I am looking forward to seeing what is to come.

To take my view of prosperity to the next level, I’d like to rephrase. To be prosperous is be able to have the flow of the people, health, wealth, creativity, and things to facilitate my do what I want to do when I want to do it, to be able to take care of myself and my pets, friends, and family to the best of my ability and to enjoy the process. And to be surrounded by love and fun and fulfillment.

My husband is looking for a new career opportunity and right after I wrote my challenge to the universe I got an e-mail from my husband to let me know that he has a job interview next week. Cool.

With regards to the post for today, I loved the websters definition so much that I used it as an inspiration for a tweet…..share the good vibes and positive emotions.

My first focus of prosperity from day 1 still remains the same. Prosperity is being blessed, happy, healthy and wealthy in every area of my life.

On day 1, I indicated that prosperity for me was trust – trust that God would more than abundantly take care of me and trust that I can let go and God will direct my paths and supply all my needs. I have a lot of past history around money and around trust. This game for me is a vehicle to experience each day the letting go of the past and regrets and also letting go of the fear of tomorrow. I am ready to receive prosperity – money for myself and others, health, friends, family and life in general. I love my life and I am excited about the future. I have had some awesome experiences already and look forward to each day and what opens up for me as I let go of all the baggage and claim my inheritance of prosperity and love.

I am opening up to God and the universe to provide the life of my dreams and to reach new heights of prosperity. I a transformation and want to share my transformation with the world. I am a stand for literacy and want to spend my life causing a breakthrough in the literacyrates in our country. I want to experience the abundant life for myself and for others.

On day 1, my definition of prosperity was a lot around making people happy and giving. I am rephasing my definition.
For me prosperity is to be fulfulled and self-filled like you said. It is to love myself and to feel worthy, to be generous with myself and others. It is to give mysefl permission to be who I truly am and want to be under any and all conditions. It is to enjoy, accept, celebrate every present moment. It is to have an abundance of ressources, a fulfilling work, relationships and to live in a place that nurture and inspire me. Prosperity is about experiencing my passion of traveling, skiing, scuba diving, sailing, art, ccoking with my family and friends. It is having a fulfulling sexual and intimate relationship with my partner. Ultimatly it is to be healthy and fit, to feel peaceful, happy, inspired, excited, empowed, connected, free, loving, trusting and abundant. And so it is !

Today I am fine tuning my definition of prosperity. My initial definition of prosperity from Day One was “any form of abundance and giving. It is a contant source of material and spiritual fulfillment that continues to thrive and give. There is no limit to it. The universe has an unlimited amount for everyone and everything.”

Today I invite prosperity and abundance into my life, from known and unknown sources, so that I can be debt free and pay off all my outstanding bills. When I say this it means :

Being abundant and prosperous will allow me to enjoy my life and Self to the fullest and enable me to share more with others emotionally, personally and financially.

Being abundant and prosperous puts me in a positive space, knowing I can help myself and others, I am less stressed out, I am more focused on what is possible- on what CAN be done, on what WILL be done.

Being abundant confirms for me that I am capable, I am empowered, I am organized, I am harvesting the hard work I put into life. I am rewarded for the energy and focus that I put out.

As I give, life gives back.
As I ask, the Universe answers.

Since starting this experiment I have seen the following happen:

My spouse lost his job but on the same day was offered a new one!

I won on a lottery ticket!

I was contacted for a new free upgraded cellphone!

My family emailed and talked about our upcoming Xmas gift exchange so we can plan who to buy for- I am glad to be able to look forward to giving to someone I love.

I was contacted by my insurance company stating they are working on helping me conclude & resolve an outstanding claim!

Life is indeed simple and easy.
The universe continues to give.

“Everything I need comes to me in divine right timing. I am divinely protected. I am safe. All is well. And so it is”.
This mantra I say has helped me throughg many difficult periods in my life, thanks to Louise Hay. I know that it is true but sometimes I doubt. The prosperity game helps remind me that miracles and gifts come to us everyday, I just have to focus on the good that comes my way. It could be as simple as someone letting me change lanes, a smile from a stranger, a hug from your pet. When I focus on the good coming to me everyday, more good returns! Then more, and more..until I realize that I have everything I need. I am well taken care of.

The Prosperity Game is perfect for me now because the job I am currently in is coming to an end on Dec. 1. On day 2 of this game, I was called on the phone, from a HR rep in our company, she personally wanted me to know of a job listing that was going to be displated the next day. She thought I would be perfect for the job and would look forward working with me! I applied straight away and will be waiting for my interview! I know that I have this job and will continue prospering & growing.

Yesterday, on my way out to make a deposit at the bank, I said “I am going to find a check in the mail. I know money is coming to me.” Sure enough, there was the check for jury service I’d performed less than three weeks ago (they had told us to expect 6 – 8 weeks before receiving our compensation.)

Thank you Elyse for your words today. I am so happy to be part of this special group. My life has brought many individuals who are extremely prosperous in all avenues of their life. I wondered how they were that way. Now I know they were showing me how to be prosperous and until now I was unaware of it no matter how much I read, or how many courses and workshops I took. Something was missing and I continued to search for this missing element and here I am. Initially, my definition of prosperity had little spark to it. I have refined it and I feel that prosperity is being in a joyful, receptive place with trust and knowing that I am allowing God’s miracles in my life. It inspires me to expand energetically in mind, body and spirit in healthy ways to be in fulfillment in relationships, creative ventures, communication, business, and my financial resources. Something shifted this morning. I feel more balanced and on my path. Thank you God for the abundant prosperity in my life.

On the first day of posting I too went to the dictionary. I found the definition for prosperity. I dont know from which dictionary but that doesnt matter.

“The state of being prosperous; advance or gain in anything good or desirable; successful progress in any business or enterprise; attainment of the object desired; good fortune; success; as, commercial prosperity; national prosperity. ”

The first time I read it I about jumped off the seat… I though this just says everything I want to say. I cant tell you how the excitement flows. The excitement of expectation is that of a child waiting to go to an amusement park… At least that is one of the times I had this good exciting expectation feeling.

Each morning when I wake up, I keep saying “I love being in the Vortex” when I have thoughts that dont line I say ” I love being in the Vortex”

This morning when I woke up to another email from this experiment, I was so excited to just open it up, it was like I know there was something good in there… I just knew…. so as I read the blog, I am understanding the meaning of “feeling” . I am understanding what it means to feel good.. Yesterday when I played the prosperity game and saw my 12,500 dollars I got so excited lol it was actually funny cause I was hardly able to stay in my seat… I FELT GOOD!

ANYWAY … I love that you are letting us share on the comments because that causes more excitement cause I want to scream it from the mountain tops, because I wish more people would see what I see, but many of them look at me like a deer in the headlights lol.

I am constantly looking to advance or gain in ANYTHING good or desirable. As Abraham says… there is no right or wrong, so that means EVERYTHING… I can advance in EVERYTHING… Everything desirable is my personal relationships, can keep advancing to make them better over time instead of getting stagnant.

and my post said “wouldn’t be nice if my last months rent was paid”
within two hours of my post, I had a person that lives half way across the world from me contact me and ask if I would let her pay my rent… I almost fell on the floor… I know that the universe was using her as a vessel… but the excitement that poured over me was unexplainable. I gladly accepted. It wasn’t so much the money as it was the fact that the universe was moving to me in my request.. The universe heard.

Day three I had requested in the properity game that I wanted 50 graphic design assigments a week. Last Night… I got 1/5 of that and More coming!! The universe hears!!

I recently posted this on my own blog and wanted to share it here too. I have more comment later after digesting Elyse’s current Day 4 FUN!!!!

I’ve always worried a lot about money.

It seemed to me that if I wanted to not be worried about money –I would simply have to get more money. But now I know it doesn’t require having more money not to worry about money. It requires courage to trust.

Not to worry about money takes courage. Trusting in abundance takes courage too. This is not to say one must not put prudent attention to money. As Mr. Micawber in David Copperfield put it “Annual income twenty pounds, annual expenditure nineteen and six, result happiness. Annual income twenty pounds, annual expenditure twenty pounds ought and six, result misery.”

But prudence is not worry. Prudence is right action. Why worry about money? Why not take right action and surround myself with gratitude. When I treat all money as a blessing, I know it to be so.

Not worrying about money is simply minimizing money’s importance. A blessing, however, is important in a very big way. A blessing fills your life with happiness.

I trust that as I’m prudent with money and treat it with respect, that money will be available to me in the proportion I need and want.

After reading today’s information on defining prosperity, I realized that my definition, which I have taken from a prosperity prayer, states “perfect health, perfect wealth, perfect love, and perfect happiness.” Well, lo and behold, I have a strong perfectionist in me, who believes on some level that I will never be “perfect.” I’ve been futurizing the whole time without even knowing it, and putting prosperity out in front of me like a dangling carrot!

No more.

So, my new definition of prosperity is:

Having an abundance of resources so that I may enjoy my life. Giving myself permission to be who I AM under any and all cirucumstances. Living a life that is an outward expression of who I AM on the inside. Loving myself and my body, and taking care of myself and my body, so that I am at the peak of health and wellness. Being open to receive all the purest Goodness, beauty, and wonder in the world around me and within me. Overflowing with Peace, Joy, Health, Wealth, and Love!

This was an uplifting exercise first thing in the morning. I went to my dictionary and my thesaurus to define prosperity. Timely that you asked for this today because it was on my agenda anyway. I find it interesting that we walk around with word definitions in our head, use them in our sentences, but often can’t define them for others without checking just to be sure. What I usually find with words may be an excellent parallel for life – they are richer than we commonly think.
Look what I was able to extract by beginning with prosperity and this isn’t all I found.
Prosperity – material well being
Richness – composed of rare or precious materials, luscious, full & satisfying, abundant
Opulence- luxuriance, abundance
Magnificence – splendor
Radiance – brilliant
Yesterday, I received a call from my long-time friend who needs a place to stay for a month while her husband works in the area. This will add all of the above to my life for a while.
I’m happy to see that prosperity includes so many facets. Because I live in the western world, money plays a key role in self-care. Pretty hard to survive an Alberta winter without central heating, so money is necessary. But money is way down on my list of what makes my life worth living. Friends, family, interesting work, nurturing opportunities and shared experiences all get me more excited than money. Probably why I have trouble bring money into my life. So, I’m looking for richness in my life. Like a Habsburger Torte – many layers made of rich and varied ingredients enrobed in Ganache, so that when you take a bite, your mouth is filled with myriad flavors that linger on your palate like the scent of roses in the garden.
I want my life to be cake and I’m going to eat it.

Prosperity for me its just to be in perfect balance!!

To be a healthy human being not just in the phisical way but in the spirit mood, to dont forget to be grateful for all the benefits I can have day by day.

Prosperity is being a joyful, free soul, happy person who enjoys the blessings of love, work and health no matter if something comes across the way.

About the money in the prosperity fact I just think that money is a friend, beloved friend who help us in so different ways for take away some troubles or just fill some of our needs (the materia ones) money its not an enemy but it is important to have relation of wisdom and respect with it so we just keep the balance.

I did get a bonus of $30 in a paycheck yesterday- unexpected, but very welcomed! I realized that I have covered all my expenses this month and have extra left over as well. I feel absolutely at peace about money instead of the dull worry that usually surrounds it.

Outside of just money, my husband and I have rekindled the spark of when we first fell in love. I feel like we are giddy and playful again. There is definitely a prosperity of love in my life right now!

Today, I wrote a letter to God asking for prosperity (in all kind of ways). What I got today was really amazing. First I was called by a friend (asking me if I needed anything). After another hour someone gave me 150 Euro for nothing (I did not accept it though). Another half hour later I was talking to a friend and she offered to make food for my son’s birhtday party. She offered to make food for almost 80 people.

Prosperity: love, money, friendship, genourosity.

One of my definitions of prosperity is to feel a sense of security and happiness, knowing that all my needs are provided for and also that I have a positive influence on other people’s lives – whether they’re friends, clients, family, or co-workers, or even strangers.

I’m self-employed so for me a feeling of prosperity (security and happiness and contribution) would include a steady flow of joyful work for my wonderful clients. And most of all, I’d love a contract. A steadiness, an evening-out of my income. (Without those low dips that keep happening from time-to-time.) A lucrative contract for a high-profile, big-budget client whose products and services align with my spiritual values. So that as I prosper, they prosper. And as they prosper, their clients and customers prosper. So I can be an integral part of a wonderfully helpful, synergistic, global flow.

Wouldn’t it be nice if my new contract came to me next week? Wouldn’t it be nice if the projects used my natural talents and abilities so the work came easily to me? I’ve decided I want to be a positive influence on many, many, people. I’ve decided to be a resource for others to help improve their lives.

I like to think that I’m in the process of attracting everything I need. And to quote Abraham: “Only good lies before me and I’ll figure it out as I go along…”

Today’s lesson said so much for me. I’ve been feeling a shift, I’ve received an unexpected opportunity which could possibly be by dream at this stage of my life. What has happened is really nothing in concrete terms, but the shift in my feelings from having a pit in my stomach, having to take valium to even be able to half way center myself, to today where I am matching and feeling this definition of prosperity : excited, inspired, empowered, connected, free, loving and abundant. I usually feel this way but the last couple of months have been extremely stressful — but not today. Nothing has changed but my belief that I do live in a prosperous universe that continues to care for me and provide me with opportunity.

a year ago when i played this game i only wanted money. after having gone so long without it, i was a little frustrated to learn it didn’t work that way. now when i think about prosperity i think of FREEDOM to LIVE a JOYFUL life with EXPERIENCES that are FUN. I see money as a piece of the puzzle but not the whole puzzle anymore. i love that prosperity is truly me living as me in every moment.

Prosperity encompasses so many things for each individual. My prosperity includes, but of course is not limited to – being able to greet each day with optimism and along the way bring a smile to another person! Trusting in the way I feel and following what feels good. Having the freedom to explore whatever interests me. I believe that from these things comes all the other “stuff” of life here – healthy relationships with family and friends, freedom of financial abundance, etc.

i looked back at what i wrote on day one of this experiment this is what i wrote:

“prosperity. to me this means becoming a beacon of light to which all good things effortlessly flow – in abundance – whenever i desire. with no effort, no practice, no reminders and no “exercises” needed. it means never needing to hold on to anything – any source outside of myself – because i know with certainty that “there is more where that came from” – on any given day, in any given moment. and always. it means becoming so clear about who i am…my true nature…my divinity…what i am capable of and what i am here to experience, that i remain a clear channel for all that is to flow effortlessly and gracefully and lovingly into my life. it means being so in the flow of what i KNOW is already waiting for me (in vibrational escrow as abraham says), that i need not guess or worry or wonder what is going to show up in my life next because i already KNOW. and i KNOW because i am creating it in every moment with my wonderful vibration that i am able to maintain, if not always, then, at least, more consistently than not. prosperity means absolute freedom (including peace of mind) and absolute joy.”

this stands true for me and it stands well, i think, when i match it against the list of ways we mis-create listed above.

in reading it again i realized that i used the words knowing, becoming and being quite often. so, for me that is what prosperity means in a nutshell. KNOWING, BECOMING and BEING….in a constant state of freedom and joy. NO MATTER WHAT!

however, in looking at Elyse’s list of ways in which we mis-create, i do think that even though i didn’t write it down, i still hold some of IV – “Futurizing” and IV “the Coming from lack or ‘againstness’” in my vibration. so, now that this is in my awareness (the fact that i do this), i know that it will now begin to shift. to dissipate.

thank you Elyse and all on this blog who are participating in this and who are brave enough to post their experiences. and, also, thank you to all of those who are contributing with their positive vibration even if they are not blogging about it.

Here’s my new unique definition of prosperity, one that totally jazzes and uplifts me every time I read it:

Prosperity is giving myself permission & encouragement to be who I truly, passionately want to BE under any and all conditions; Joyful, soul-satisfying, fulfilling work; Relationships that uplift and inspire me; A comfortable, gracious and delicious lifestyle (self-care/home/vehicle/entertaining/travel); Infusing my life with the energies of passion, adventure, and creativity; Joyful opportunities to give back/contribute; and Easy and delightfully serendipitous manifestations!

I definitely feel an energetic shift and I shifted my original definition away from the ‘having’ to more of a sense of BEing. And it feels GREAT!

I re-read my definition of prosperity and felt it contained most of the points. However, I realized I could add more to the feeling tone of free, grateful and blessed; words like jubilant, healthy, uplifted, fulfilled.

Thank you for the prosperity coaching, particularly the notion of being, not accumulating, doing, consuming, but being! As in, I prosper……that definitely creates a consciousness and energetic shift!

I learned that one’s own, or rather my own definition of prosperity plays a big role in me allowing more prosperity into my life. And that my definition must be something that inspires me (to create what I want); it has to make me feel excited, free, loving and connected too, and it has to be empowering and magnetic.
I learned that the universe operates on energetic frequencies; therefore, my point of prosperity attraction is directly corelated with how I’m feeling at any moment.

However, I have a question. I wonder what this means “at any moment”… could it be at any moment throughout the day?…. hmmm.. I’m a morning person, so I usually feel great in the mornings… So, does this mean that I need to feel great all day, because at any given moment the universe could be lining up something wonderful for me?
I think it means that I should focus on my desires/wants/goals at the time when I’m feeling best. Am I right?

I am so riding the wave, guys! This has been amazing already.

Yesterday morning, I started out the day with less than $60 in the bank. Before my head hit the pillow, I had over $500 of funds in hand or on the way — and I didn’t make one call or ask anybody for a dime. It all just flowed to me.

I credit my mindset with that flow. My ideas on prosperity have evolved as I have evolved — every little thing that I already have enriches me. By simply being who I am, I enrich those who enter my sphere — even if that happens in ways I didn’t consciously engineer.

Making room for the unknown has made all the difference and I welcome it. It is the key that unlocked everything for me. It’s subtle and strange but it requires that I let go of controlling things.

Prosperity is taking a look at what is in our life RIGHT NOW, what is it we see, what is coming to/at us, what does it feeel like? Gotta slow to a stop at times and LOOK< LISTEN

And Prosperity is also FOCUSED ATTENTION/some say hard work but not really, just CENTERED Work and holding our attention and efforts to bring about our own dreams/greatness. Holding the attention really does work:)! I do not really mind rolling up my sleeves and WORKING HARD as long as I PLAY with abandon, too. HAVING FUN IS MY MOST IMPORTANT TASK IN LIFE!

I didn’t receive the first day’s email so I didn’t post my definition of prosperity on that day. Here it is now: Prosperity is giving and receiving love unconditionally from those around me, whether it’s my family, friends, husband, co-workers, and random people I pass. Prosperity is having a life full of joy, peace, and love in all moments. Prosperity is having all I need and want. Prosperity is having enough money to buy whatever I need and want and whatever my loved ones need and want without even having to have a second thought about it. Prosperity is knowing that I am taken care of in every moment. Prosperity is waking up with a smile on my face and going to bed with another one in its place. Prosperity is appreciating all of the little things. Prosperity is having enough time to do everything I dream of and spend with all of the people I love. Prosperity is knowing that I am capable of achieving anything I desire. Prosperity is being challenged enough to not become complacent and being rewarded enough to know that my efforts are worthwhile. Prosperity is having both enough adventure and diverse experiences to keep life interesting and enough consistency to feel safe and secure. Prosperity is having enough to share with others without a second thought.

I enjoyed today’s message because it confirmed that I’m one with prosperity now and that it’s continually evolving into more and more greatness each and every day. This whole project has me very excited, especially about sharing it with each and every one of you who are participating (including a couple of my close friends I already knew prior to starting this)!

Prosperity to me is, being healthy, loved, fullfilled, happy, abundant and at peace enjoying every moment of life to the fullest and being able to share all the love and joy with my loved ones. Having total freedom in to be do or have whatever that makes me feel good.

Day four and I feel like it has been a year since day one. Loads of feelings are welling up inside of me and I have cried an ocean of tears, every day since day one.
Last night I woke with tears gushing down and took some hours to will myself back to sleep
I would like to put another challenge to the universe and God my father that I allow my daughter freedom to go to college accept that she will be cared protected and blossom into the young lady and the years restored to her that have been stolen
accept that I will have financial abundance to pay for her schooling and all that goes with it.
accept peace courage and joy into my heart.
My gratitude for today is that though I have been very emotional I have made good choices and on the spot decissions with great clarity
I am thankful for sharing in this magnificient program .
I am gratful for the challenge that I face now that I know I am supported
I received two days off work to bring my daughter up the country to attend her new college.
I know that I am taken care of I believe in a power much greater than myself and I see the source of this beauty all around me.

Thank you for the coaching! Here is my updated statement, and I’ll continue to revise it as new awareness and inspiration comes my way.

Prosperity is simply the ability to have, get, do, give, and be what I want when I want without constraints or concerns. It is freedom, empowerment, inspiration, and peace inside me and my life. I want more prosperity in my daily life so that I am living the experience of freedom, empowerment, inspiration, and peace – both inwardly AND outwardly. With this, I am a happier and healthier person on all levels, and I am in a position to contribute more to my world. All of this, so that I am enjoying my life to the fullest, including an abundance of resources, fulfilling work, and relationships that nurture and inspire me!

Thank you Elyse for today’s post. I have to remind myself “to be” at all times. What I see around myself every moment is just what is “inside” of me. I am thankful for the miracle of each day that I can see, touch, smell, feel and hear, have internet access and participate in this energy shifting experiment. All setbacks and disappoints are just experiments towards my goal of making a living trading Forex and we get another chance to try again.

After reading today’s posts, I realized that my definition of prosperity was coming from a place of lack AND “againstness.” I am changing my definition to reflect a positive view that will align me with what I truly desire.

Prosperity is constantly knowing that everything is taking care of, it is being able to trust that anything I need has already been provided to me. It is also being grateful and sharing with the world. Prosperity means spending my time with the people that I love and participating in the activities that I love. It’s having a job that feels like play and that I love so much that I am excited to get up every morning to go to work. Prosperity is also living in a state of awe because our world is truly wonderful. Namaste.

I did have a small happening. I’ve been saving for laminate flooring for my house for some time now. After estimating what I would need, materials, labor, etc. I thought I could get it done mid-October. I’ve been hunting down the materials and found nothing at the price range I wanted, so was “settling” for a higher priced product and yet had to still wait at least three more weeks. Day 2 of the experiment, I returned from an assignment and found a sample of exactly what I had in mind with my contractor’s card. I called him and found out the materials were almost half what I’d been looking at!!!! We ordered them and they were delivered today! I have a trip to Chicago planned and the floors will be laid while I’m gone, finished on my return. Thank you universe! Now I have money left over. What’s next?? Whatever I want, I receive. I noticed I’d done my homework, looked for the materials, recorded prices, checked out three or four locations and while I didn’t find what I wanted, I was provided for anyway. I think action is the key. Any action you take in the direction you want will yield results. Maybe not what you expect i.e. I didn’t find the materials, he did. But by taking action with intention it worked anyway! Love it.

Wow! What a transformation in my definition of prosperity! I was definitely focused on “the bucks” but after reading through many posts and listening to the Prosperity Guides I started with a fresh sheet of paper (okay, a computer screen) and came up with a new and improved definition that FEELS so much better!

Prosperity is:
* To “flourish, to grow vigorously, succeed, thrive, to be at the peak of development, activity, influence etc.” – I LOVE THIS!
* A feeling of being in the flow in every moment – like when I feel love for myself and I see that mirrored back to me from my family – and I then have even more love for them – it’s infinite.
* A feeling like there is an expansive side to me and that I could explode with the amount of “possibility“ I feel.
* The freedom to do what I want, when I want, with whomever I choose.
* To move forward in any direction I choose and to trust that the Universe will provide at each step along my journey- all the while feeling gratitude and fearlessness.
* Feeling peace, simplicity, grace, ease and security in every moment.
* Being spontaneous and knowing all things are possible.
* Being crystal clear on what I want and manifesting it easily.
* Inspiring others to live a prosperous life and to see the endless resources inside of themselves.
* Giving myself permission to be who I truly want to be under any and all conditions.
* Knowing all my needs are met.
* Loving life!

What I want:
* A blossoming business that provides me with a feeling of contributing, self-worth and self-confidence (and lots of money!). I love the work I do and I see that it matters to people and it inspires them.
* To always be in vibrational alignment with my true self and to live “downstream”.
* To always feel optimistic – the Universe is just one big endless possibility and I intend to experience my life and enjoy it to the fullest!
* To give, receive and BE love.

And so it is!

Excellent points on prosperity. I want to post my revised definition of prosperity and why I want prosperity.

Prosperity to me means being joyful and healthy, living a life of financial abundance. It means embracing myself with love and compassion at all times. Prosperity is having abundance of love (both those I love and those who love me), financial abundance and freedom, joy, ease of life, physical and emotional health, healthy, supportive relationships, having compassion for others, and fulfilling my dreams, desires and using my talents to the best of my ability.

I want prosperity because I want to be free. I want an abundance of resources, financial and other. I want a fulfilling career and I want relationships that nourish and inspire me. Ultimately I want to be financially and emotionally prosperous so I may always share love and support with others as I have received so much love and support from so many throughout my life.

…I walk the walk, talk the talk, feel the feel and when I venture outside my inside, I love almost every moment of my life.

However, there is a security lock on my financial prosperity that is so hidden and protected there must be as much as the national treasure stowed away there. (No, wait, that’s not worth much anymore is it?)

The financial abundance that is backed up outside my door, waiting my allowing is worth more than I can imagine but since it is so securely locked, I am not concerned because it may never become a reality.

So, where do I go from here? What is the combination to the vault? How do I begin? If it’s from inside out, I’ve ripped that place apart and haven’t found the answer…

Wow, what a story!

From what I can tell, most of us have grown up with some major self worth issues, limiting childhood beliefs, and a whole slew of insidious fears that are pretty well anchored in our belief system, well below our surface consciousness, hidden in those corners of our mind that we many times don’t dare to venture into.

The amazing thing about this is, “they are only scripts,” comprised of thoughts and feelings, running over and over in your mind and body which you use to create your own personal identity, your reality, or your story, your part, acted out on the stage of life.

Most of us have the knack of noticing others follies and readily being able to offer advice on how to “fix it”, but when it comes to ourselves, we don’t seem to have a clue!

Really? Or do we just not prefer to own up to the script we’ve written and are playing out?

Play a game with yourself and make believe you are your best friend, mentor, and all wise confidant, and tell them your “story” and ask for advice. Play both parts at the same time, you and your friends.

You’ll be surprised at how well you’ll be able to “get it”, and figure out what needs to be done to start re-writing the part you’re playing out in life.

Looking at your post from the perspective of your best friend, you’ll easily spot some areas of your story that readily point out the issues, beliefs, and fears that can be used as a starting point on your “make-over.”

A couple of tools that I think you will find immensely helpful for digging into and changing the contents of your mind are available in both book and audio form. They are “Choose to Believe” by Alan Tutt, and “The Sedona Method” by Hale Dwoskin, or the comparable “Abundance Book” by Lawrence Crane and Lester Levenson.

All are readily available in book stores, online, or at most larger public libraries.

Alan’s book lays the ground work for understanding and working with your belief system, Hale’s and Larry’s teach your how to change and release feelings and their underlying structures.

Please remember, you are loved, whole, complete, and perfect just as your are, God doesn’t make mistakes!

Have fun re-writing your story, I’m sure you’ll be able to play the part perfectly!

I also went back and looked at my definition of prosperity and I too would like to add/revise it a bit.
I found that I was not really in the present, where I do have abundance and therefore prosperity each and every day. So, my definition is to be in the present moment to recognize the prosperity that is already mine.

I constantly give thanks for the abundance I have all of the time, BUT I do not stop to recognize that it is that abundance that is also prosperity…
I have an abundance of family (my own children – 6 when I did not plan for any… so they were always of the present moment and amazing blessings each one of them) — I just had this AH HA Moment !
and there is always the abundance of Mother Earth and my loved ones and the unseens …. ahhhh so much abundance all around always present always coming in …… and just in this moment, the abundance of all of your energy !!!

Hello everyone

Although I did not post my original definition of prosperity, I am getting into the swing of things now after reading today’s coaching lesson and reading the many inspiring posts: here is my ammeded version. Like so many of you I was also focusing on having, and doing and I didn’t realise how future focused it was, so here is the new one.

I am constantly in touch with and living my true spiritual, devine essence.

I constantly see and acknowledge the same infinite devinity in all people and in all life.

I am joy,peace and serenity.

By staying on this spiritual path and intergrating this wisdom in to my very cells I am living my full devine potential and by doing so inspire and open the way for all those that I affect to do the same.

I recognise the gift in every moment and every experience.

I recognise and give thanks for all the abundance that is already in my life on a daily basis eg love, support, inpiration.

And O.K. I couldn’t resist – here is some “doing/having” stuff:

I live and work on my own terms

I have creative, joyfilled work in uplifting environments that feeds my soul and the soul’s of those whom I encounter or affect in any way. And I am abundantly rewarded allowing me to live a fruitful, spontaneous family-focused life.

I have created my very own soul-filled, love-filled home that is a sanctuary for all who enter.

And to paraphase the Crosby Stills Nash and Young song:

I have recently learned how I have attracted all my experiences in my life. The good and the bad. Through much observation, reading and requesting, I have attracted this Prosperity Game in my life. Thank you God! I am now open to growing in the unique (but as I read the blogs…not so unique) ways to put a stop to the stumbling blocks. Thank you again God…for showng me that I am not alone.

I began this experiment about 3 days late and am playing catch up and I grasp it’s full power and intention. So here is my definition for prosperity:

A constant and consistent state of daily growing…spiritually, mentally, emotionally and financially.

Everything I have read thus far resonates with me in a deep and fulfilling way. I am excited about this journey and look forward to reading and writing to contribute to the universe in a loving and compassionate way. Thank you Elyse!!!

I’ve been giving this post a lot of thought the last day or so and do realize that my definition of prosperity needs to grow. Looking at the Webster’s definition: “to flourish, to grow vigorously, succeed, thrive, to be at the peak of development, peak of activity, peak of influence, etc.” really gave me the charge that you were talking about.

Where as my definition:
“For me prosperity has a particular look and feel. I have a vision of the house we own surrounded by friends and family enjoying ourselves. For me it’s all about simple pleasures in life (health, wealth, love and peace) and the financial freedom to enjoy them at my leisure.”

Gives me a quiet inner peace but nothing to excite and thrill me just a sense of relief and contentment if anything. It’s more about having versus being like you pointed out.

I will spend more time evaluating my definition so not only does it provide that sense of peace I desire but also a thrill and excitement of being as well.

I wouldn’t have thought that doing this as a group rather than solo would make such a difference, but it really is motivating/inspiring to witness so many others asking and answering similar questions!

I had an idea (or way of explaining something) that I thought might be helpful to anyone who struggles with the concept of “How do I feel better about money/prosperity when it is so perfectly evident to me that I don’t YET have it in my life?!”

It’s sort of like the expression “Fake it till you make it”

Not that you should look to create fake feelings, but rather imagine that you already have what it is you want, then go a little deeper into that visualization and feel what it feels like to have it.

Capture that feeling, and just feel it–if your mind tries to argue that you shouldn’t YET feel happy, content, secure because you don’t YET have your desires, then just observe that reaction, let it go, and re-focus on the feeling.

Whenever you notice a negative thought or reaction popping up during your day, take thirty seconds or a minute to simply meditate on the fabulous feeling of prosperity you conjured up earlier.

Like so many things in life, it’s about creating a habit. When you are trying to break a bad habit and create better ones, it’s important to recognize and applaud the small shifts that occur–change doesn’t have to come in a thunderclap (though it can!).

This method of doing a little bit at a time, no matter how insignificant your action or change may seem, is something my grandfather taught me. And he is 87 today! Happy birthday and thank you grampa!

Funny, I looked back on my definition of prosperity from Day 1 and got confused reading it. I think this is poignant. After much deciphering I don’t disagree with anything I wrote but it took deciphering and i think this reflects on my attitude to Prosperity. I am confused about what I mean and what I want and afraid to be direct about about my desires so end up talking all round the houses.
The webster definition is brilliant. And it really has helped me tyo see that if I don’t see the feeling of prosperity as attainable TODAY and only something available in the future then I am keeping it at a distance.
I really enjoyed my day after that. Bringing an awareness of EXISTING prosperity to my day. I am the person NOW that I want to be THEN.
Felt great. Weird AND great!

Reading the posts truly reiterates the surge of energy – the oneness, that we all share.

For me, prosperity is to feel whole and fulfilled. To have a life filled with people, activities and things that give me joy and give joy to others. To have opportunities to achieve great things and give meaning to others’ lives that in turn give purpose to my life in ways beyond belief. To have balance in the inflow and outflow of all the aspects of my life. To be rewarded financially and to be valued by myself and my fellow beings.
I feel like I have a reason for my existence: a reason to get up in the morning and a feeling of achieving something meaningful and useful, and in doing so, receiving an abundance of joy, love, physical well being, financial reward and great peace.
I want this in order to feel that I am living my purpose and living my life to the highest good of all.

Thank you Elyse, once again your wisdom has clarified what, for me, was a bit confusing! Funny how something can seem so complicated and so simple all at the same time. That’s probably part of why prosperity can seem so out of reach to me! Hopefully this experiment will be just what I need to get it all sorted out and put me on the road to prosperity for the rest of this earthly life! I can see where I can widen my definition of prosperity to include all aspects of life and even see where, right now, if I look for it in my life I am actually enjoying aspects of prosperity in the present moment, and can keep building on that, as like attracts like! I am grateful for your encouragement.

La prospérité, c’est de vivre en paix avec soi-même et les autres, en célébrant le présent. C’est être soi-même et avoir confiance en mes ressources abondantes, tout en agissant aisément et spontanément, en pleine joie de vivre. C’est aussi être comblée d’occupation intéressantes et gratifiantes et de relations qui me nourrissent et me remplissent de joie.

Thank you for the insights and knowledge of what the definition of prosperity should be and what it should not be. I went back to my definition posted on day 1. I am looking at it somewhat differently but overall it does give me a great feeling. I need to continue on this experiment to learn and percieve and thus reshape and redirect my definition to be more of the present and not the state to which I wish to be. It’s a struggle for me to get into the state of being of what it will feel like to be in the abundance I desire while I physically existing in the state I am. Should I be trying not to emotionially existing in the present state? All this is not to say I don’t recognize the many many blessings and abundance that I do have. I am grateful for the wonderful group of people sharing on this site and to Elyse for openness of her heart to lead, share and encourage.

I’ve been spending some time each night meditating and thinking of the things that I am grateful for. It’s helped me fall asleep easier and I wake up in a positive mood, ready to start my day.
I just opened my mail, and there was an unexpected check for $1,141.00 from my insurance company. How exciting!

I have returned to my initial definition of prosperity. As I was reading it, I felt the butterflies ready for flight. I love that feeling. Sometimes I feel that I will take flight myself while they beat their wings in time to the beat of my heart.

At this point, I would make one slight change or rather addition to my definition. The key to my definition is freedom. However, I would add that this key allows me to enhance all of my experiences in this and all of my lives to come.

It reminded me that it is all about how I “Feel”. It occurred to me that I don’t need to over complicate things. The post reminded me that instead of focusing on exactly how many dollars I think I may want, my focus is actually on how wonderful a feeling it is to be abundant and prosper and not have any limits. The tremendous feeling of ultimate freedom just thrills me.

Today, I am enjoying the present moment. Feeling abundant in my thoughts and feelings have taken on new meaning. I am grateful and fulfilled. These practices have given me insight into what I now feel rather than what I use to say without believing it at the core level. From the inside out gets my molecules jumping and I am starting to feel good each day. I have 2 new clients just by asking the universe for them. And that feels good and prosperous.
