This is new for me. Usually when I decide I am going to choose, it’s about action, because as far as I am concerned, by the time I am choosing the thought process is over.
What I see here is an opportunity to try a new way of doing things by making thoughts the first and most important action.
It feels so…… weird

The quote from Abraham was all about taking personal responsibility for your thoughts. I totally resonate with this and understand that this is the action necessary to make the Law of Attraction kick in. It feels empowering to read that quote. I am not, nor will I ever be, a victim of circumstance.
What shifts do I need to make to be living in alignment with Abraham’s perspective? Oh hell, just about everything! Even though I “know” this stuff, I still watch my negative thinking and generate all the negative emotions I attach to these thoughts and then wonder why my life just keeps looking the same. What’s the definition of insanity? Doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.
The tricky thing with this is that I think I’m doing things differently because I’m saying or doing things differently. But the thoughts stay the same essentially. Aye, and there’s the rub!
Thought-watching is a very technical sport that requires vigilance for me. What I find is a constant running internal monologue about how my job sucks, how my relationship sucks, how my life just isn’t all it should be, people don’t appreciate me, I shouldn’t have done or said that, etc. Just my basic operating system that came with the hard drive. What Abraham is saying to me is, I can overwrite the old operating system with a new one and just watch how much better all this new software works!

The central message of the quote is:
I can choose my thoughts and in so doing, change my life accordingly. I have the power within me to intentionally shift my thoughts — I simply have to tune in and notice my thoughts and their corresponding emotions and intentionally choose thoughts that make me feel better. As I do this, the Law of Attraction will respond to my powerful thoughts and begin bringing me more experiences to continue and support my shift upwards.
I most definitely do resonate with this quote.
It feels empowering to read these words. I am in control of my own life. That rocks!
I need to continue becoming aware of my emotions throughout the day. My emotions indicate if I am creating something I want or something I don’t want. When I recognize a negative emotion, it’s a signal from the Universe to shift gears and choose thoughts that create more positive emotions. I’m getting better at it but I now see this is my ‘job’ while I’m on planet Earth – - to gain control of my thoughts and correspondingly, gain control of my life.

To live in the moment not the past not the future but NOW. And part of that are our thoughts and making the choices of our thoughts and with that, choosing the emotion that will place me in alignment and become irresistably attractive. Having the thoughts and emotions is the key because that is how we manifest. I KNOW these things and now I DO these things. And so it is!!!

For me, it means, instead of drifting into the energy of these random thoughts that talk to me, and give me doubts, and make me feel boo hoo, could be about people, my relationship with husband, my dissatisfaction about this or that, my put downs to myself, WHATEVER pops in, I can stop those and choose, to focus on feelings or situations, or anything that will change my feelings that feel better….. it could be reality, like the trees are sooo beautiful, the fresh air feels sooo good, the sky is amazing,…. or it could be a “wouldn’t it be nice”….. which really is fun, and or appreciation, or it could be just taking a step in moving towards that which I want, that snap me into action, ie..doing the laundry, making my bed, dishes, car wash, it could be small, or a big project… just for me choosing, to focus or shift, even if Ifeel depressed.. take a walk, even if I am tired, llisten to music, talk to a friend, and start visualizing something that I can feel that feels good. sometimes it is easy and sometimes it isn’t, and sometimes that feeling that I don’t like just has to pass, but maybe I could help it along by some better feeling thoughts…so that is a choice rather than just the thoughts coming in…. which for me are habitual, and I find that there are habitual thoughts that really affect me that I can choose to change, for the better. And that is what I am noticing and working on. And I believe it works pretty well. It is a trick to do sometimes because I have found that I do believe the not so good stuff that my head is telling me…so rather than dwell on those, I am consciously changing, and hopefully it will get easier, “wouldn’t it be nice!!”

I used to be very fatalistic; just went with the flow, no matter what came up. I sure learned to roll with the punches and be happy no matter what! — and make the most of it. Valuable lessons indeed!
Then one day I realized I was rolling with the energy of everyone else around me ( and my unconscious beliefs ), ignoring my own needs…. since then I have been working on choosing consciously… and letting go of the blocks that came up whenever I felt selfish ….
I have a mantra now; “I am equally important” — and when I add ” for the greatest good of all involved” to my choices — well, then things have been much easier
)
Choosing consciously is a road to self awareness for me. Because how can I make choices matching my preferences, if I do not know me, and what I truly desire?
Alot of fun!

“Law of Attraction can get hold of it and help you along and before you know it you are offering energy deliberately rather than by default.’
I love this statement, especially “rather than by default”. To me that means I am 100% responsible for my thoughts and actions. I am in control….I love it. Here is where I can really be in control of my life and it is a “conscious” choice.
Ernest Holmes in 1938 wrote a book call “Science of Mind” Chapter 18 is called “The Law of Attraction”. He says “since we are thinking beings and cannot stop thinking, and since Creative Mind receives our thought and cannot stop creating, It must always be creating something for us. What It will make depends wholly upon whatt we are thinking, and what we shall attract will depend upon that which our thoughts dwell.”
What we may fail to realize is that when we are focusing on our negative thinking then we will get more of ……guess what…..negative thinking. The real “SECRET” here is that we have thoughts that are conscious and we can shift them…..however there is “STUFF” in the unconscious that will continue to operate us until we dig down deep and uncover those gems. That is really the place where we get tripped up (by DEFAULT) that is…
So when something keeps showing up for me and I have not been able to shift it…..then I know….a digging I shall go!! Happy Digging

The bottom line is that it’s up to you. You are responsible for your life. It’s up to you to take charge and deliberately choose the direction that your life will take. No one else can do this for you.
I absolutely inequivocably resonate with these words. I am in charge of my life, my thoughts and my dreams. No one else can make my decisions for me. This means that I am responsible for the events, relationships and issues in my life that aren’t working for me BUT I am responsible for all of the wonderful people and events in my life. No one else can take the credit for those and that is a wonderful feeling.
Oh my God! Reading these words gives me a rush of self-empowerment. To remind myself that I am in control of my life, that I have the power to create my life and make my own decisions!!!! Wow, that is an amazing rush. It makes me want to post these words where I can always see them so that I can experience this amazing rush of feelings and emotions many times throughout the day!!!

I am wondering if the thoughts that we get in a habit of repetitively that are not the good thoughts, and we keep hashing over them over and over, if we need to ask them to go? or are they there for a reason, and what then? Show us the reason, and then ask them to be replaced by new thoughts? or are those thoughts giving us messages that we need to hear? Just a question really…

I could feel my resistance as I read this quote, just as I have the many times I have picked up ‘Ask and it is Given’ and put it back down. If I am going to be truly honest, sometimes it feels absolutely unnatural and exhausting to control all my thoughts so that I can achieve a positive outcome and vibration. It feels too hard or is that I am too lazy, unwilling? No question that when I keep my thoughts in line with LOA and gratitude, I am life force and in touch with the universal source and flow. I have felt those moments very clearly and seen the results. Yet, I am also a human being, full of emotions and passions and sometimes these feelings do not always reflect my Higher Self. It’s extremely hard to be this honest with myself because I am committed to making changes so I can rid myself of self-sabotage and resistance. I know that only I hold the key to my own power and my own decision making. I bought the new Canfield book and seem to be resonating more with the LOA than I do with the Hicks book, which is great but more laborious a read. I recommend the Canfield book for those who have had a hard time with the lovely Hicks book.

Hmmm, I noticed how easily my thoughts were running off in a direction this morning; so ’serendipitous’ timing that this quote should appear… it resonates and yes, means being vigilant – training so as to create a more disciplined mind.

The central message of the quote is that I am the only one who controls my destiny. It’s totally up to me-good or bad.
This definitely feels right. I just have to quit being lazy and be more consistent. I honestly do feel like I’m making an effort for the most part. However, at certain times I just feel like other thoughts are easier to follow after. Instead I must shift back and actually direct my thoughts.

Great quote. Just remeinds me that we are all indeed responsible for our inner state, regardless of the things going on around us. It’s all too easy to get ‘caught up’ and have your amazing mind taken off track, instead of stubbornly remaining on your own goals, aims and dreams. The classic is thinking you don’t have time for ‘that’ stuff as there is too much to do.
I am learning an immense amount from you all, so thankyou for your contributions!

I guess for the most part I am going on trust or faith. I know that when things are good that more good seems to come to me and on the other side when things are bad I seem to get stuck there for a while. What having the ability to chose can do for me is get me back to feeling good quicker. Or if I am already there I can fuel that “feel good fire” with more good choices. This experiment is definitely helping me chose to feel better more often. The Portal also does this for me, as being part of the PPP.
I am very excited by the thought that the Law of Attraction can get a hold of this and help me along.
I am committed to having my desires come to me with ease…
I am now just in the process of practicing this.

I too have learned to accept that I, and I alone!, am responsible for every one of my beliefs, thoughts, words and actions and they are what creates my reality, so I am totally responsible for the reality I inhabit…
I’m having an interesting time in that Life is bringing me the opportunity to learn from direct mirroring of circumstances/attitudes, almost instantaneously… when I sit in judgment of a person or situation, I am made aware almost immediately of how I am being/doing exactly the same in other arenas of my life… a bit of a blow to my ‘ego’ and a really steep learning curve, if I want to stand in integrity! Also a thorough lesson in having and offering compassion and forgiveness, both for self and others….
And I have quite a few voices in my life (and in my head!) expressing doubt about my choices and actions in pursuing a way of life so ‘different’ from the norm we are programmed to accept….
So, I’m having a challenging time of ’stubbornly remaining on my own goals, aims and dreams’ as Greg above wrote.
When I am wavering and doubting, I remind myself of the time when I played Robert Kiyosaki’s Cashflow money game – its a timed game and its competitive. At first, I played against the other players. Then I decided I would just play for me, play my way, by myself, without reference to what the others were doing…. and lo and behold, I finished the game right on the limit, one of only 4 players to complete! I know that if I had spent any more energy, time and focus on worrying about the other players and where they were at, what they were doing/their strategies, I would have been sidetracked and not completed.
I completed the game… I know the reality I envision is possible…That’s how I am choosing to move forward in this ‘game’ of manifesting a new life of abundance…. trust my guidance/intuition/feelings, do it my way, for myself, step by step, regardless of others’ disapproving/negative/distracting input …..

I have picked up many useful tools and ideas from the Abraham-Hicks books. One thing that I have learned to do is that when I start thinking negatively about something or start on a tear about something that I don’t like I eventually stop my self and say thank you for showing me what I don’t like. Thank you for showing me what I don’t want. After I thank it and release that negative thought or emotion, I can then move on to start thinking about what I do want and feeling good about it.
Yes, I am human, and yes I do have negative thoughts somtimes, but I’ve gotten to a point in my life where those sessions are very brief because I have realized that I am the only thinker in my mind, and in my mind I can do whatever my heart desires.

Choice is so important. It was great to have this reminder today of anytime I feel ’stuck’ – I am choosing to be there. And that not choosing is a choice.
I have just made an important decision to move- and as soon as I made the decision – offers started to flow to me. And my body feels much lighter!

Recognize that you have only to state, “I want a new red car,” and leave it at that — not setting forth your counter-creation, your contradictory-creation, your destructive-creation, your anti-creation or your un-creation.Offer only those thoughts and words that are in the direction of what you want.

What I want more than anything in this world is to be in complete control of how I spend my time with whatever resources I need flowing freely through me. Having said that, it seems to also be what I’m most afraid of. The ability to choose, the gift of choice. This quote from Abraham really stresses to me personal responsibility as it emphasizes “YOU’RE.” No longer can I wait for God to tell me what my purpose in life is and in so doing pass the buck. No longer can I play defense in the game of life as my parents have always done. I have spent 36 years dreaming about having the ability to choose, but I haven’t had the guts until now to play offense. So I do resonate with this quote because I feel more in alignment with it now than I ever have before. I’ve been truthful with myself about what I want and why I want it, and I choose joy. I am also learning that the act of choosing is a daily act, sometimes an hourly act, not a one-time act. The most important shift I need to make is in how I tell my story because I constantly catch myself telling the story of the past and rehashing past events or feelings in my head. Faith in my choice, that’s my new story.

This quote is what Deliberate Creation is all about in a nutshell. You have to made that decision that you are going to choose and then do it. And you keep doing it until you get the hang of it. Until you are in sync with the flow from that one great source.
I do resonate with it but I do not quite have the hang of it yet. This experiment, the Prosperity Portal, and the PPP is a great playground to practice on and all you beautiful souls out there a great team to practice with. TEAM PROSPERITY! We score a clean sweep against lack and limitation.

Do I resonate with it? Absolutely!! Yesterday, my copy of “Money and the Law of Attraction” arrived. I’ve listened to the CD that came with it, several times already, and started reading the book. I’m getting a deeper understanding of choosing and deliberate creation all the time, and find myself consciously “pivoting” towards positive thought. Reading these words again gives me a real thrill because I KNOW, from my own experience that they’re right!
The big shift that I’m making is recognising and acknowledging how I feel at any moment. Then I can deliberately “change the story”. I’m also learning to trust the universe and let go of anxiety.
One of my intentions in participating in this experiment, is to get into the habit of choosing prosperity. I’m definitely well on my way! I really appreciate the support of this blog and the other people taking part – all that positive energy supporting each other!

~ What is the central message of the quote?
The importance of being open heart, living the present moment, and aware of the quality of my thoughts, the vibration of my thoughts… Taking responsibility and becoming a deliberately creator.
~ Do you resonate with it?
Yes I do.
~ How does it FEEL to read these words?
It feels simple and easy… However I wonder (my analytical brain wonders) which is the sequence of thought that this quote referes to?… Do these sequence of thoughts are my choosen thoughts focused on my goal? Or are the ones used to raise my vibratio??? Or is a combination of both ???
What am I missing??? I ask for help to answer these questions, PLEASE !!!
~ What shifts will you need to make to be living in alignment with this perspective?
First understand the “sequence of thoughts”. And second to do it releasing any expectation or attachment.

it is helpful for me to re-write the question to get in the flow…
have reached a place where i decide i am going to choose.
When i decide to choose, i am going to direct my thoughts, on purpose, consciously.
i have the power within me to set energy in motion.
I am going to deliberately choose the sequence of thoughts, choose my thoughts.
i want to offer energy deliberately. really what i want is to change my thinking because i believe my thinking has such lack.
i want to change my thinking… i want to change my perceptions of things assumed or real that really get in my way emotionally and physically manifested. i want to dissolve the can’t do that, not good enough, the chunking myself down mentality. I want to consistently come from a place of creating and manifesting. I want to be grounded in thought in inspiration from source energy. i want to reprogram my mind.
my old thinking is negative and it is habit…. i want to choose – deliberately that which i want to become and be. i want to dissolve – those thoughts – they are habit…
if i think about it – the caterpillar becomes a butterfly by dissolving its’ shell or form, it dissolves its current form to become the butterfly. if i say
I am prosperous (period)…. that is who i am… it is not an arguement… it is a conscious thought….i don’t know how this will come, this is not attached to a person, a place or certain event happening.
Attachment to outcome, becomes such lack thinking for me…. because i end up compromising what i want by ”chunking down“ on it, talking my self out of it. Isn’t it better to go thru with ease, vitality and an assuredness that people, places, circumstances money can come from unexpected syncronicities.

The message is the core of existence. The choice of life if you will. Love to choose, because it is what makes our world around us. I love to make choices, it brings what is needed and desired to make a complete life. Or one that will keep us content. All goodness to all! This is a behaviour, as such behaviours can be changed if you choose it to do so.
I most certainly resonate with this quote. Having this understanding can only help with the betterment of life itself. Thank you for the reaffirmation- thinking about these wonderful notions of our existence or our creative powers is most enlightening for me.
My only shift to this would be to focus more on the idea of choosing and assure myself it is okay to make these choices for betterment and not for greed or selfish gain. For that is what holds me back from making choices to create a better life for myself and my family. I do not wish to be considered greedy nor selfish because i have a better life than others around me. I am inspired to see that there is equality for all. Not a better JOB or more money than someone else that works at a different occupation equally as hard without the similar pay. I believe that all vocations are valuable and should be rewarded equally. A utopia not in existence, sadly! I want goodness to come for all, to enjoy and live with happiness.
I know that the Law of attraction works. I have seen it transpire in my life for many many years. At different points in time I have observed the manifestation of my thought into reality, not understanding it completely until now. That the science is here to confirm and explain in greater detail of its existence. Bravo to all that we grateful to for bringing this to light to so many people. I am pleasantly please for all involved. Thank you for all your efforts! There is no doubt in my mind that it works in every aspect and sense of the magical wonders it can bestow on our life.

Wow, this was very powerful for me. I’ve been acting on this idea for sometime, but using it more for the purpose of making changes in my emotional life and spiritual life. In reading the quote, it gave me a little shock feeling, making me realize I can CHOOSE in ALL aspects of my life as directly and effectively as I’ve been choosing the emotional shifts in my life. A HUGE Ah-hah for me!

It feels glorious. It give me a joyful feeling that I am free to choose my life, free to make it as I long for it to be. I have the power to choose!
~ What shifts will you need to make to be living in alignment with this perspective?
Shift from passive manifester and list manifester in the physical realm (wealth, health, friendships, location, family, freedom, fun, fitness, food, environment) to moment to moment manifester, choosing my life into being as I go.

This is about mindfulness. Isn’t the first step being aware of my thoughts? Being aware and being willing to change them, that’s the trick. Hmm! I choose. I choose. I choose. What a lot I have to give up if I choose. What awesome responsibility, but then it says if I do choose, once I choose I am helped along and I am not alone. I goes from work to practice to habit, the habit of deliberate thought.
I know this is true. I believe this is true. I feel this is true. One of my favorite teachers says,” You create the life you have with the words that you choose.” How I speak about my life creates it, and the thought come before the words.
I feel afraid of the responsibility, still afraid of messing up. If I am creating this how do I know it for the greater good. Because my greater good can’t mess with anyone else’s greater good, that’s why. Am I competitive enough to keep it up? Competitive, in the sense of wanting more, feeling more, desiring more?
Why then is it so difficult to maintain? Don’t worry about that now; just feel the excitement of this possibility. I can deliberately choose my life. Choose it. I have chosen it, but not deliberately. What needs to change choose to live not just BE! HA! I’m good at being, the doing – not so much.
I think I have to move this belief from my head to my heart. Is that moving from understanding to knowing? Perhaps! I have to give up my right to suffer. I ask myself would you rather be right or happy? It was a shock to realize that mostly I get trapped in wanting to be right, wanting to have my RIGHTS, which makes me suffer, which makes me unhappy which repels abundance. This needs to shift. This is not a new AHHA more a DUHH! As Abraham says I already know this stuff. Oh to live what I already know, but I want to be teachable too. I want my brain and my heart to be flexible. A rigid mind can by it’s nature only create limited thoughts. Perhaps that could be a gift of my ADD brain? The gift in me.
THNK YOU! THANK YOU ME!

~ How does it FEEL to read these words?
~ What shifts will you need to make to be living in alignment with this perspective?
The message for me is about choosing your thoughts no matter what situation you are in. Greatly, I am a very optimistic person all the time, looking at the good side of things even in the middle of turmoil. However, we all still have those days.
When I read these words, I FEEL, like it feels really great to know that I can truly change any situation and to know that I have complete control over how I feel and my thoughts no matter what I see around me.
I will begin to monitor my bad thoughts and pay more attention to what I contribute to my soul. As I think of the things that I watch on television and the people that I surround myself with all play a huge part in our thinking. Even the music that we listen too. No matter what I used to do, I have to monitor what thought suggestions that I let in.

For me the central message of this quote is that we are our thoughts. Our thoughts create our reality so if we are choosing thoughts that reflect how we want to define ourselves and our life than it be certainly come to be. I can resonate with this quote because I understand the power of ownership and the power of thought and the possibilities blending the two breeds. When reading the quote (which I had to do many times) I felt hints of excitement but also resistance based on the importance of getting the sequence right. Therefore the shifts I will make to experience living in alignment with this perspective is minding my thoughts and being extremely cautious of what those thoughts are. It is my doing to define my being. I know I can do this so that I radiate love from every cell of my being.

the central message is that we get to choose – this is the power of free will and no one can do it for us.
i recently read something that said we must choose our thoughts the way we choose the food that we put into our mouths.
this, to me, means that we would not continue to eat food that made us sick, was not tasty and dissatisfied us. so, to this end, why would we continue to choose thoughts that did this to us – made us sick, worried, upset, etc.?
but of course,we do. and i have learned that it is harder to control our thoughts than it is to control the food we pick up, purchase and eat, but it is as simple as that, in the end. isn’t it?
of course, thoughts are not physical (like food), and they come much more quickly – they are constant. and, unlike food, there is no labels on the outside of a thought that says “xxx grams of fat, xxx amount of calories, cholesterol free and no trans fat”
so it takes a more discerning eye to see/sense a thought that is not good for you in the present moment. and, of course, we also have the memories of the past and, sometimes, the fear of the future to contend with. AND unlike food, which does not sneak up on us and jump into our mouths, THOUGHTS seem to just creep up out of nowhere competing for the space in our minds.
but with conscious effort we can eventually get to the place where when negative thoughts creep up we can just shake our heads and shake them off like an annoying fly. and replace them with a better feeling thought. we do get to to choose. and we know where we are vibrating by how we feel – good or bad – it’s that simple.
the best part is that we don’t have to think about what we want constantly once we set the intention – the asking – of what we want. and because the intention…the desire is really set with our vibration not with our words… all we have to do is NOT block the manifestation of it by thinking thoughts like: “it hasn’t come” or “it’s not going to come” or “why hasn’t it come yet” or “when is it it coming.” and it will arrive.
sigh. wow! easier said than done. or i wouldn’t be here participating in the experiment – i need the reminders!
but abraham says we can pet our cat and our desires will flow to us – or, rather, we will flow to them, since they are already there once we’ve asked! meaning as long as we are doing something that raises our vibration, no matter what it is, it will arrive – or we will ARRIVE to it/them (our desires).
gregg braden says we are already in this flow. we are already in it. we are already in the stuff…this substance that creates universes. we ARE it. it created us.
so, we just need to choose how we will experience this energy – this god force that is available to everyone, no exception; by focusing our thoughts to manifest what we DO want or what we DON’T want.
i have found a useful tool in this experiment which i also used a few years ago with great results: whenever i find my vibration waning and my thoughts shifting i find a statement of gratitude to just repeat and repeat in my mind. two thoughts can’t occupy the same space so whenever i do this, i find that i am easily distracting myself and focusing on something of gratitude even if it’s only “that you for this sunny day!”
have a great sunday!

The central message of the quote, for me, is about accepting the power that is within and choosing to allow myself to receive all that I am asking for. I completely resonate with it and although I’ve had some trouble with Step 3 (allowing), I think I’ve finally managed to find something that works for me and helps me let go of the worry/don’thaveit/nothereyet part (The Sedona Method). I’m already seeing huge shifts in my life, my relationships, my thought processes and although I know I’m not where I want to be, I’m completely satisfied with where I am (after all, I have to be here in order to move forward and get to where I’m wanting to be).
I feel really empowered when I read this quote. I feel like Abraham’s telling me, “that’s right, you’re going the right way. Keep doing exactly what you’re doing and you’ll get there sooner than you think. You are an incredible and amazing being, and as you’re finding ways to connect with Source, the stream is carrying you to those things you’ve been asking for with ever increasing momentum. As you’re choosing to find ways to get your thoughts in alignment, you’re moving faster and faster to what you’ve been asking for, but you’ve been enjoying yourself so much along the way that you’ve stopped keeping track, haven’t you? In your appreciation, you’ve found a way to connect regardless of what’s going on around you and even though you don’t have everything in your vibrational escrow, you’ve learned that you don’t need it to be happy. The more that you appreciate, the sooner the floodgates will open and you’ll really start receiving those things you’ve been wanting.” What I love is that I’m already receiving so much more than what I was allowing in before (even in spite of the fact that things do not appear to be moving in ways that are creating prosperity ie I was laid off due to a company closure), and I’ve got a growing feeling of excitement as I find more and more evidence of the prosperity that I’ve been asking for and have finally learned how to allow into my experience.

I have been becoming acutely aware of my thought life as I deepen my connection to my spirit through yoga, meditation, nature and everything around me. I had a recent experience where clearly fear manifested and I said to myself do no pick it up, well as you already know these things ,the experience walked through with grace was pleasant and inspiring. I am so used to suffering …it is with grace and ease I transition through the rest of my life here on earth.thank you

‘You do have to reach this place where you decide YOU’RE going to choose. And when you decide YOU’RE going to choose, what that means is YOU’RE going to start directing your thought. YOU are going to start setting energy in motion. You’re going to deliberately CHOOSE the sequence of thoughts until Law of Attraction can get hold of it and help you along and before you know it you are offering energy deliberately rather than by default.’
— Abraham-Hicks
First let me say I love playing that game. Today I received $98,000 and I printed the cheque so I could see it, hold it, physically “have” it. So FUN!
Ah yes, choosing what to ask for and inviting that into your Life. Last winter I read Ask And It Is Given. I could not put it down. In fact I need to buy it so I can re-read it regularly.
I think the lesson for me in this is in the daily practice of the LOA. When you get frustrated or negative you lose your vibration to what you really want.
You are out of alignment.
In daily practice learning to REDIRECT that negative energy of “damn, that didn’t happen” into, say, “well then something better must be coming. FANTASTIC!”
That is the key.
Keeping that focus on positive, and making it a “normal” reaction to anything that happens.
Have a great day everyone!

~ What is the central message of the quote?
The central message of the quote is that I will in fact come to a fork in the road so to speak, whereas I must decide. I must decide that I must direct my thoughts to good feeling thoughts if I want change to occur. (Otherwise I will stay stagnant). And, when I begin to do this and then continue to do this on an even more frequent basis, the law of attraction will get the message, so to speak, and begin to help me ever so gently, so that I will barely notice that I’m finally guiding my thoughts “on purpose” and working with the universe.
~ Do you resonate with it? Definitely yes!
~ How does it FEEL to read these words?
It feels wonderful… especially because I’ve already made that decision to choose what feels good to me. I made up my own quote… from off of a commercial actually… When you’re by yourself, say in a loud voice, “THEY’RE MY FEELINGS, AND I CHOOSE TO FEEL GOOD NOW!”
~ What shifts will you need to make to be living in alignment with this perspective?
There is only one shift that I felt that I needed to make here; and the shift that I needed to make regarding being in alignment with this perspective is already in place. My shift was to try my best to be even more conscientious of my thoughts by using affirmations during the day in order to keep my vibrations at a higher level… or to bring my vibrations up during the course of the day. I purchased a “MotivAider” to help myself with this. It will vibrate after I set the timer for however many minutes I want it to vibrate after. And when/after it vibrates, I say my affirmation. This tool is wonderful, I just love it, and it certainly helps me a lot… It really keeps me on track!

~ What is the central message of the quote?
The central message is one that I have known intellectually for a long time but have yet to fully grasp emotionally for many reasons. Basically WE (you and me and the rest of the universe) are responsible for our existence through the choices we make. Once we can grasp this concept and put it into action the universe will give us more and more proof of it’s validity.
~ Do you resonate with it?
Like I said above I resonate with it on an intellectual level and do believe it. The part I have trouble with is putting it to work for me. I still find myself on autopilot A LOT and REACTIVE versus PROACTIVE.
~ How does it FEEL to read these words?
It feels wonderfully amazing and promising. It makes me hopeful for the future.
~ What shifts will you need to make to be living in alignment with this perspective?
The biggest shift is the hardest of all. Learning how to stop the reactionary thoughts and create new more positive thoughts from which to act from. Hindsight is good but foresight is better. How to become a conscious creator versus running on autopilot and cleaning up the messes that creates afterward is starting to get pretty old.

For me it is not so much that I am in control, but that I am a very definite participant in my life, my future, my happiness, because I am granted a choice and the chance to CHOOSE my best future.
It resonates and is very empowering and feels very attainable!
The challenge then is To consciously make the CHOICE to be in the moment, in every moment, in order to be awake not only to what I choose and to reap the benefits of my choices, but also to the guidance that is available to me from the Omnipotent Universe.

I already have this Abraham-Hicks quote printed out in a place where I can see it for motivation.
It resonates with me like the words of a trusted friend, continually reminding me that I am FREE TO CHOOSE the thought pattern at any moment, and that deciding to make these thoughts positive and expansive every time I choose to is a way to stretch and change the expanses of my mind, heart and soul on a very basic, fundamental level.
As I develop a regular practice of meditation, forgiveness and clearing internal resistance, my mind will be able to manifest whatever I want at a level I had only dreamt of.

The central message for me is that one must wake up first. Realize that you have options..choices. Then start clearing the mind. Start picking up between lazy, destruction, diverting actions where execution was based on habit, fear, indifference, resignation and so on…and those actions where execution was based on spiritual dignity and choice…. Then the next step , in my opinion is to be on the alert for options which arise that have been influenced by negative feelings and dismiss them before they become a choice thus an actions.. For example what I do when this happens is say to my self.. Uh oh..This is a diversion..this will divert me from where I want to get…This will hinder me..It’s sabotage…
By the time I am finished saying this to myself..the bad option vanishes into thin air..I am free of it. So, I think that I have begun to resonate with quote. Each day it gets stronger. I don’t feel excited nor do I feel any resistance when reading this quote..I know its true. The intitial shift has been made..and that is the awareness of the sabotage ….now what I must do is make sure none of the old habit thinking sneaks in.. I firmly believe that with each conscious choice I become better connected to the universal force. I would like to add that participating in this experiment keeps me on track..I am deeply grateful.

The central message of this quote is that we are in control of our journey.
To me, a bit intimidating, but I believe that putting the positive, happy, and loving thoughts in motion and staying in those thoughts, are a way to open this up. To see myself as I desire to be, and keep that thought in place until I am resonating with it. Catch the thoughts that the ego self wants to put out there, and say thank you for that reminder of what I no longer am or need.

The central message is that I have the power to create the life of my desire and it all starts with thoughts I choose to think. I can see objectively the thoughts that are running through my awareness and decide to either 1) go with the ones that will support an abundant life, or 2) push back on those thoughts and bring to my awareness thoughts of abundance and prosperity.
Do you resonate with it?
Yes. Inevitably I begin to feel better when I tell myself the deeper truths that the Universe wants me to be prosperous and generative. There is no reason why I would come into this world and not be an expression of these things. That does not make sense.
How does it FEEL to read these words?
I feel empowered because I no longer have to WAIT for outside forces, one day, to discover what my wishes are give them to me out of generosity. I feel excited and enthusiastic that I can start the ball rolling myself, and I can choose to do it now!
What shifts will you need to make to be living in alignment with this perspective?
Becoming much more aware of my thoughts and beliefs about money and how I generate actions based on those thoughts. If they are positive actions, Great! I’ll continue to do that. If not, then using those moments when I discover negative thoughts as opportunities to make the shift to more empowering ones; I may have to carry affirmations with me, do affirmative prayers and meditations, and risk taking new actions.

This quote makes me feel like my recent practices are being affirmed. Many times when my friends or others around me are afraid of something, I say to them “Let’s just decide that’s not going to happen. What would you like to happen instead?” Then we get to a place where we know that what they want to happen is GOING to happen.
It works. Every time.
This is also reminding me that I need to use this practice myself this week

I have been stuck this last couple of days, in a place of not believing in myself, or my ability to affect my situation. This is not typical of me, but here I am.
I appreciate the comment above. “Let’s just decide that going without income until February of next year, and being depressed, is not going to happen. WHat I would like to happen instead, is that I am able to keep in action, keep choosing slightly better thoughts, little magic steps towards prosperity in the next week or two, and I’d like it to be wonderful and safe.
I’ll need to stay close, and generate this over the next couple days. I like another comment above, including self-and other forgiveness, for life being where it is at this moment.

Honestly, until I started making my list of choices (below), I was scared by the concepts in the quote. Taking responsibility for my own thoughts, which are often negative (I’m working very hard on changing this; Choosing Prosperity is a big part of this process) is a big challenge. But I can choose to change this.
I think I’ve been complacent in letting life push me around while making me think it was my own thought process at work. Actually, I’m not sure if I’ve been blaming the world or myself; I tend to take the guilt in whether it belongs to me or not. If I have to direct my own thoughts, I can no longer lay blame anywhere but with me. If I have only myself to blame, then I am choosing/creating my own reality. The power to change my life, to choose prosperity & abundance in all things is frightening – I am afraid to fail and so I become afraid to even try.
This quote is charging me with deliberately “choosing the sequence of thoughts” until the universe can tune in and help me along, but it’s up to me to be deliberate with my thoughts. That’s a big shift for me, but it’s one I’m willing to make.
I choose to believe that I can let go of the anger that has lived inside me for most of my life.
I choose to believe that I can find good coping mechanisms and let go of the ones that are no longer working for me.
I choose to believe that I can be healthy – mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
I choose to believe that I can be creative and expressive in all that I do.
I choose to believe that what others think of me doesn’t matter.
I choose to believe that I can give and receive love to all the people in my life.
I choose to believe that I deserve the best in life.
I choose to believe that I am loved.
I choose to believe that I deserve good people in my life.
I choose to believe that I deserve respect and attention.
I choose to believe that my children will always appreciate me and will choose to remain close throughout our lives.
I choose to believe that money will manifest itself through play and flow, and that we are coming into glorious times ahead.
I choose to believe that God, the universe, the powers that be are on my side; they are loving and sending positive energy to me at all times – I just have to tap into it.
I choose to believe that I am moving in the right direction towards a life of fulfillment, happiness, abundance, and love.
I choose to believe that deliberately thinking these thoughts and sending them forth into the universe will open new opportunities and help me realize prosperity in all things.
I choose not to be afraid of letting go – I know that God is with me and I can let go of fear.
I choose to believe that only good and positive people/things/experiences are coming towards me.
I think this is a significant start for me. I feel the energy shifting inside me even as I’m typing now.
I choose to embrace it.

This quote means to me that a higher vibration comes from the choice to seek it and the willingness to experience it, even when things aren’t my idea of “perfection.” I means I get to start by looking at what I do have and being grateful for that. That’s a choice. I have been so aware lately of how anything, absolutely anything, can be an object of joy or derision. That means it’s up to every individual (*me*) to choose to see things in terms of the joy, in terms of the wonder. And then choose to imagine and be open to even more wonderful things.

It means that I need to pay attention to what is going on in my own head… It means that once I pay attention and choose positive thoughts LOA will work with me much more efficiently than if I go through life half asleep.
It certainly does resonate with me leaving me a bit excited but honestly a tad bit scared of the responsibility…That is where I need to work I suppose…
I continue to take time to document all the things I am grateful for everyday… stick with the prosperity game everyday… And also to make sure I ask everyday to be used for the greatest good of all including myself…I truly believe that if I am being used for the greatest good of all I will feel very prosperous…I am prosperous… And so it is!!!!
Love to you all!!!!!

Being a student of Abraham, I resonate with that statement, as well as most of what they have to say. The central message is that we create our own reality. If we deliberately choose thoughts that attract what we want, we create the reality we want. If we don’t, we don’t create our reality, so much as we accept whatever our energy attracts. Simply knowing that it is possible to choose at any given moment is incredibly empowering. It was that realization that got me started on this path some 15 years ago. The major shift that still has to happen for me is choosing thoughts that do not push against what I don’t want, but rather focus on what I do want. That is a subtle, but critical distinction that I’m still learning.

Somehow I feel quite overwhelmed by this quote.
Don’t know if it’s because of the size of the potential empowerment
or the size of the responsibility.
I realise that NOT choosing your reality doesn’t mean that you aren’t creating your reality.
Rather it means that you are creating a reality you have not CHOSEN. And therefore more often than not one you do not want.
I realise that I need to make a consistent effort to rethink and change my thought and thus my reality.
The effort needed at first seems immense because it must change life long habits so that the “Law of Attraction can get hold of it”.
Overwhelmed but excited.

I know that life is choices and I seem to avoid them. I am so busy in the now of life-which is largely maintaing life and home that I am not planning my future, or setting intentions. I think about planning more than a week or two out and it makes me nauseous. As a result…I am where I was years ago-still not traveling, still living in the same house, still not dating/married, still not working at something I love and making great money doing. I know in my head that I need to prioritize exercise, quiet time and better planning but I get stuck moving it into action.

The central message of the quote is that prosperity lies on a choice.
That resonates well with me because I have already experienced changes in my energy after I have decided to change.
That is reassuring to read these words because the more I align myself with my desires, the more the Law of attraction will help me.
I need to continue to practice and do exercices and make new habits to experience more satisfaction in life.

The central message of the quote is that we’re in complete control of what we create, which definitely resonates with me and this is something I’ve been thinking about ever since I rediscovered the law of attraction. It feels good but also at times has felt scary and overwhelming. It sometimes seems like a lot of responsibility, good responsibility but still a little intimidating. At the same time it’s also exciting and fun, especially when you see it happening in front of you. Lately the challenge for me has been to decide what I want. I’ve always been such an easygoing person so it’s been a challenge to choose exactly what I want rather than say, “Oh whatever comes to me is fine.” And in saying that I have been receiving whatever, which isn’t always what I want. But I think it’s also led to clarification in what I do want and I’m now saying more of, “I want this or something greater,” and that’s starting to appear. I think to live in alignment with this perspective I need to continue to say that, “I want this or something greater,” and appreciate what I have in the moment. It’s been working very well for me so far with the fear melting into grand anticipation.

I love this quote. It’s promising, it’s an answer, it’s light shining. It’s life changing and it’s turth! Core of the message is all about choice and deliberate choice at that. I have to change the way of my old habits of thinking . This quote and this wonderful site and community are majorly helping me be in almost constant awareness of my thoughts and the world around me. What I need to get in alignment with is being more constant with this change of deliberate thinking to the point that it will be an involuntary process such as breathing. This is an exciting fun time!

The centralized message in the quote, states we all have the choice to choice whether or not we will live a prosperous life, once we all make a choice to change our thoughts then all else will follow but it begins with a choice. Yes I resonate with this quote and I feel good knowing I have made a choice to live my life differently. I have to shift my thoughts to focus on what I want versus what I think is going on around me, therefore channeling my energy towards receiving all that I want.

What this means to me is that once we are aware of our thoughts we can change them. By simply being aware shifts the energy into a proactive state. And choice comes into play. When we are aware and choose another thought then and only then we are creating something different within us. We are creating new cells that believe anything is possible. And with hope, feeling and belief kick in. And through feeling and believing intentions becomes manifestation. All from choosing to think and feel something different. Today, I am following my path to my soul purpose. In doing so I am manifesting all that I was meant to be. Today I am in alignment with my purpose. For that I am grateful and fulfilled.
