I appreciate so much...My children.... For getting my heart broken and being forced to examine all the pieces before putting it back together again... Running water, butterflies, heat, air conditioning, my car, my clothes, fresh fruit, free food, friends, good movies, my laptop, my computer guy, my mechanic, public parks, my pet fish, smelly candles, my cell phone bill payed for, bright colors, inspiration, my parents, just to name a few...I could go on and on but I will stop here and continue in my own private journal...Love to all of you!!!

I have so much gratitude for my spiritual family at Inner Focus--my healing school. The support and interconnectedness are what bring me into a higher vibration.
I am feeling a deep connection to the Earth, and reverence for the expansive beauty of the natural world, in all it's delicacy and grandeur and wildness. There exists here such a range of experience and I feel very fortunate to be here on this planet!

I've been really mindful about feeling and showing gratitude and appreciation for all of the wonderful things in my life. I've made gratitude lists galore, and I add to my gratitude list every day. I try to say thank you a lot. But yesterday I was asked by a wonderful coach friend how many of my gratitude entries were about the things I am grateful for about myself. I was pretty stunned to realize that it hadn't ever occurred to me to be grateful for myself, or the things about me that are valuable and that have served me well. As a matter of fact, I've always felt vaguely uncomfortable about even thinking that way, having an underlying belief about it being narcissistic and self-indulgent. It's still out of my comfort zone, but, in the spirit of doing something different, I'm going to go on a rampage of appreciation for myself here:

Things I appreciate and am grateful for about myself:

I am a responsible, caring, wonderful mom who loves her children beyond words
I am intelligent
I am pretty
I am funny
I laugh easily
I am open-minded
I am kind
I love giving gifts and showing people I care about them
I am generous
I am creative
I am brave
I am strong
I have learned to be more assertive
I am optimistic
I am positive
I am persuasive
I am easygoing
I know how to make money
I inspire people
I have a knack for finding funny, interesting, valuable information and resources, and get much joy from sharing them with others
I am a relatively early adopter of new technology -- I am not afraid to try new things
I have awesome taste in music
I'm a good cook
I have a great vocabulary and love words
I am responsible -- I fulfill my commitments
I never stop trying -- I am determined and unstoppable
I make a difference
I'm a good decorator
I am fun
I'm very loving
I try to see all sides of an issue and put myself in others' shoes
I write well, and groove on grammar and punctuation
I am enthusiastic
I have an open heart
I am a good friend
I am generous

OK, so that was actually pretty fun, once I got going :) Thanks, universe, for making me, me!

I appreciate, I am appreciative of:
my husband
my beautiful sons
my little patio with honeysuckle and now the autumn berries
my breath that makes it all possible
all my sense
the wisdom of my body
my writing tutor, her support and sharing her expertise
wonderful friends all over the world
the opportunity to contribute to world peace (one person at a time!)
walking by the river
the beautiful seasons we have here in UK
a full tummy and returning health
my little warm house
my Mac, it's groovy and helps me connect to others
my writing talent
a big clean writing pad and a flowing pen
warm feet
colour everywhere - especially I love green and purple, but all colours are just a miracle, beautiful, joyous, playful
my education that gave me strength with words
poets and writers everywhere, thank you for your gifts
the little breeze making the leaves dance
another breath (making all things possible)
my teacher's kindness, wisdom and patience
the coaching community and their support
just the huge manifestation that is me, the universe, all things bright and beautiful ...
